Can I list all of the above?  I love traveling.  My next target destination is New Zeland, which isn’t listed.

Hawaii… I know DH would feel more comfortable staying in the US and that would be somewhere we would be able to afford to go out of our own pockets.

Croatia was one of the first countries I wrote down when thinking about my dream honeymoon. But the way my FI talks about Czech Republic makes me want to go as our honeymoon ! He says the food is amazing. And to one of my friends who traveled a lot these past years, I asked where the food was best ? She immediately answered Prague. I googled this city and it’s incredibly beautiful. Having 5K I would seriously consider going there. 🙂

I voted Bahamas, but NOT the touristy areas. I wasn’t a private boat with a captain, and I want to island hop, all over the “out islands” where no one goes!

@Arshim:  I’d go with Bora Bora, but hard to choose as there are so many tempting options out there!

@Serey:  That’s what we did! Just got back this weekend. It was amazing. We spent about 10 dys in Vietnam then 2 in Phnom Penh and 2 near the temples of Angkor. Two days was not nearly enough. I hope you make it some day!

I’d do what we’re doing.. roadtrip honeymoon. We love seeing new places, and we’re not really the beach/exotic island type.

We’re more of the geeky, museum, restaurant & dave & busters type!

I’m all for Iceland for a honeymoon! It looks so beautiful and I think we’d have a blast. FI wants to go to Japan. I’d be super happy with either!!

I’d do Bora Bora, especially with free airfare + lodging!

My husband and I had this discussion when deciding where to honeymoon. We wanted to make sure it was the trip of a lifetime, in case kids, jobs, health or finances got in the way of us traveling more in life. I asked him, if he could go ANYWHERE in the world, where would he go. My answers were Italy (too expensive for us right now), Spain/France to do the Camino de Santiago (but we’ve both already been to Spain and he’s done part of the camino), Peru to see Machu Pichu, and Southeast Asia, particularly Vietnam and Cambodia. Without hearing my answers, he also said Vietnam. Ding ding ding, we had a match! And since it’s so close, we did Cambodia as well. It was a great trip.
