Because I’m petite, I like wearing jeans that don’t require hemming. My go-to brand has been Lucky. I’m bottom heavy too.

I like good ol Levi’s, but I’m pretty straight up and down.

@HisQueenToBee:  Silvers ROCK!!! I am a plus sized gal and I love them they fit so great! And my skinny friends love them too. We find them in store at Maurice’s, or I order them online. They are very true to size, which makes online ordering so easy!

I like H&M jeans, as well as Hudson and Citizens of Humanity for pricier ones. I’m pretty small and not-curvy so I don’t have the hip issue.

@HisQueenToBee:  i have similar measurements to you, and adore J.Crew’s matchstick jeans. They are perfect! Also, 7 for all mankind’s Roxanne skinnies.

@HisQueenToBee:  no problem! Often J. Crew factory will have them for a great price too (think $120 marked down to $40) etc.

@HisQueenToBee:  Yoga jeans. I have about a 12 inch difference from waist to hips They are amazing. Run about 120 a pair, but sometimes you can get them on sale for 65$

I love J.crew toothpick, but I wear a 24 (their smallest size) and can’t wear the matchsticks, which are more relaxed fit, because they sag. I love that I can snag them for 50% of…$40!! The only thing I hate is they only carry skinny jeans. So all I wear is skinny jeans…which gets old.

Im plus size now (32 inch waist, 51 hips… I realize i a, horribly disproportionate, but such is life.) i also have trouble Finding jeans that:

    1. Come in a big enough size and

    2. Fit in the thighs/butt and are snug around the waist.

basically i shun any pant that doesnt have decent stretch, because it just will never work on me…

i put on my weight rather suddenly due to a health issue, so when i was smaller and could fit regular sizes, i loved the yoga jeans. They had soooo much stretch in them and were super flattering, without being lax like jeggings normally are.

I also suprisingly loved old navys jeans (still do, they just dont flatter me the most, their pocket placements on the plus sizes leave more to be desired…)

@HisQueenToBee:  I have similar measurements to you and I tend to wear Citizens of Humanity, Seven, Hudson, AG, J Brand and just discovered Mother jeans.  The Mothers were a STEAL at Anthropologie.  Regularly $220 and I paid $19.99

Also – I never buy full price.  Gilt, Rue La La and Ideeli always have them at least 40% off, if not more.
