Focaccia! Depending on what the spices are, just a plain focaccia is fine, or one with rosemary, asiago, etc.

@melonseeds:  Ciabatta, focaccia, or whatever looks good and crusty at the bakery!

My fav is a simple french baguette, a warm and chewy one preferrably.

I just ate some with seeded rye a min ago. You can’t go wrong. Well you can. Don’t buy Wonder Kids or big store bread. Any bread from a bakery will be wonderful. It’s nice to mix it up IMO. The lighter breads you taste the oliveness of the oil more and the more flavored dense breads like a foccica, the oil brings out the savoryness of the bread. It’s all good and if you mix it up you get a new experience evey time. So I guess really any bakery bread that isn’t super sweet (like cinnamon rasin bread).

A good, crusty, dense, chewy italian loaf.

Warm it up in the oven before dipping. Yum. Yum. Yum.
