its newer - bottoms up! that song got everyone up at my wedding.
at the end of our reception everyone was screaming for an encore haha (we had a dj) but he did it - he played michael franti - say hey (i love you) it was awesome.
500 miles by the proclaimers is always such a FUN wedding song. also, i'm a dork and always love shout at a wedding.
My friends always love dancing to "Home For a Rest" at weddings. I've also requested Lady Gaga songs (if you're looking for something current). Plus, if you like them, group dance songs are really popular. The most danced-to song at my wedding was "Follow the Leader" by Soca Boys!
I love Twist and Shout by the Beatles and Don't Stop Believin' by Journey. Most people know them and like to sing and dance along. I have friends that went crazy when I'm On a Boat played at a friend's reception, which was hilarious.

I also love Paradise by the dashboard light- meatloaf At my sisters wedding the guys and girls did a non chearographed dance to this randomly and it was amazingly fun!!!
