I love Fall, even though it means school for me. I love hoodies and jeans and the colors. And I LOVE the smell.
@Lindsay12.31.2010: fall is my favorite too. My birthday is also in September, my husband's birthday is in October. I love fall weather, fall clothing (boots!) and just the cozy feeling. Even though I love summer and wish nights would always start at 9:30, fall still wins my heart!
I love, love, love summer! I would like spring, but where I live, it's so tauntingly short! I do wish summer were a tiny bit milder, but I don't mind 80-85 degrees. And same with fall; it's so short! and it always makes me think of raininess and chilliness, neither of which I like. (But FI loves fall.) And I absolutely HATE winter, cuz there are not very many things that I dislike more than driving in snow!
@PitBulLover: I knew you were my twin! Except DH's birthday is in November, but close enough ;-)
Fall!! I love the colors and the smell and knowing the holidays are close. Also, drinking hot tea and snuggling under blankets.
I love the fall too but not for football. Everything else I love about it though!
Fall here too!! The temperature is perfect, the food is awesome (stews and soups!), football is on and the clothes are cuter! lol

I love FALL! Halloween is the biggest holiday of the year in my house and my birthdays at the end of October... pumpkin hunting is so much fun, the trees change colors, it finally cools off from the long hot summer, the Ren Faire, the corn maizes, the bon fire parties and Thanksgiving (which is my 2nd favorite holiday comes!) I also have an obsession with black Friday... so I'll count that as a fall thing too... lol

I voted summer, but fall is a close second. But summer means finally winter is over (spring pretty much counts as winter in Wisconsin), lovely weather, no school which means I get to actually see my FI, and being able to hang out outside. Fall is great too, but school starts and FI and I become long distance again, and it means winter is coming :(
Summer! It is just starting to get springlike here in NZ, but unfortunately we will still probably get cold snaps right up to December. I cant wait to actually be able to wear shorts!
I'm a little biased being that I'm from Southern California but I love winter. All the holidays just make me happy and the weather is cool and I can wear boots/scarves/hats, etc without overheating or feeling stupid. Summer's too hot and we don't really get the "seasonal" prettiness of fall and spring. So there you go, winter for me!
I would LOVE fall but it last only 2 or 3 weeks here and usually followed by 5 months of winter! I ADORE summer! I love the long days and the warm sultry nights!
Fall! The weather is great, the leaves are so pretty, and I get to wear cardigans.
I love fall! I love trees changing, and chilly-but-not-freezing winds, and pumpkins and NO BUGS. Hehe. Plus, it's perfect comfortable outdoor cuddling weather.
Fall! i love the cool crisp air, i love wearing sweatshirts and hoodies. I love the leaves turning colors, i love the smell of burning leaves. I love bonfires. I love halloween. Fall's got it all!
Fall is also my favorite. My birthday is in October and the colors are absolutely beautiful. It's almost like everything is becoming still. I hate the winter though, I get really blue especially in Jan and Feb. If 6 more months of engagement wouldn't make me even more crazy, we'd totally get married in the Fall.
I just love summer, though I really do get a thrill about the change of each season. I love when it turns fall and you can wear a coat for the first time in the morning, and I love decorating my house for the holidays. January is the worst month EVER because you have to take all your decorations down and there's just shitty weather to look forward to for another 3 months. But then I love the first warm day of spring when you can wear shorts again. Overall, I just love everything about summer- the weather, the food, the laid back attitude everyone gets- but I like something about each season.
Summer is my favorite because sitting on the beach is my favorite thing to do...
BUT it's funny because winter is the only season i considered for my wedding. :)
Wow, not many votes for spring at all! I didn't realize fall was the favorite. I do like the fall, but I don't think I could say it's my favorite...how about second favorite. :)
I love the spring because I like how fresh and new all the plants and trees are, and I love the still coolness of residual winter weather and the warm/hot days later on (but not as uncomfortable as the heat of summer).
It's very close. I love summer, the beach, swimming pools, the smell of freshly cut grass, sitting outside in early evening after the hottest part of the day. Love it all.
But fall with crisp apples, turning leaves (this is where living in New England rocks), that smoky smell from wood stoves and pumpkins. Gotta love that too. Plus, my husband and I both have November birthdays and somehow all the best things come at that time of year. Even more than Christmas:)
Cardigans, jeans, hoodies, boots......... these are all summer clothes, right? #OhEnglishWeatherYouSoFunny
P.S. Summer is my favourite but there is never enough of it. There's a few warm days when you're not expecting them, so you have plans. I wish summer was consistently warm.
Fall!!!!
It's tends to lend the best weather in FL, both me and my husband's birthdays are in October, Halloween, Thanksgiving, all the local arts and crafts festivals, candied apples, sweaters, FOOTBALL, hunting season, better fishing, Dunkin Donuts pumpkin spice lattes, I can go on and on....
Fall! I love everything about it. The temperatures, fall foliage, football, baseball playoffs, clothes, colors, Halloween, Thanksgiving, pumpkin everything, fall-scented candles...
Autumn! It's the time of fiery foliage, crisp air, apple picking, stylish jackets, good hair days, and cooking/baking because the house is finally cool enough. It's also a great time to be with family and friends (birthdays, the long Columbus Day weekend, Halloween festivities, Thanksgiving). LOVE!
I just had pumpkin ice cream yesterday as I left my favorite vacation spot for the final time this summer. It was a fabulous way to ring in the new season -- even if it's still technically summer!
I love summer when you look at weather, clothes, activities, etc.
But fall = football season so I'm always quite excited for that too!
Hands down, fall. I love the clothes, the colors, the holiday anticipation, pumpkin everything…it's perfect running season and I always feel more motivated. And Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday :)
Fall is my favorite...too bad we only get a few weeks of "fall" in Louisiana! I love sweaters, boots, scarves, and hats. (Again, it's not really that cold, I still love cold weather clothes!) My hair also loves the low humidity! I love football season and the leaves turing colors. I love carving pumpkins, pumpkin spice lattes, and pumpkin pie. And I love all the holidays and getting ready for them!
Okay, you are ALL making me think maybe I need to catch a plane over to where you all are and check out this brilliant fall. Here, the leaves are on the ground already (some of them). But all that autumn has in store is kids playing with conkers and crunching on leaves. There's none of the stuff you guys are talking about - "football" (:P) season, Thanksgiving, pumpkin lattes, pumpkin everything else you said, carving pumpkins, Hallowe'en...... I mean there is Hallowe'en but it is very small and just for kids to dress up scary - it isn't a big thing, most people don't even notice it coming and going, though my friends and I are in the minority as we always dress up scary and go out for the night. But yeah.... is fall really that great for all of you?

I love FALL! I love the fact that my DH comes home every September, it's my birthday month too :-) I love the chill in the air, the leaves, football season, and getting to bust out my boots and cardigans.
Oh yes, and Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
