I’ve been on a weird schedule lately, which has toyed with my normal eating habits. So I find myself really hungry in the middle of the afternoon and late at night. I want some better snack options than a bag of chips or granola bar.
So bees, what are your favorite snack items? Is it for the taste, the hunger-filler, or what do you love about it?

My all time favorite snack is potato chips. I am a big fan of the Kettle brand chips and Ruffles Sour Cream and Onion. I also like (this is leftover from childhood) plain Ruffles with Laura Scudder’s Green Onion dip mix (mix with sour cream). I can easily mow through a bag of chips in one sitting. That is why I NEVER keep them in the house. If I want chips I have to buy one invdividual page so I don’t gorge myself on chips.
French fries would be second. I have more of a salt-tooth than a sweet-tooth!

Teriyaki beef jerky…..and I can eat the whole bag, too. I love the taste, texture, meatiness, and plus it’s just fun to gnaw on the pieces.

@AudzinLuv: Oh I love that too! Maybe I’ll pick some up on my next grocery run. Although it’s an expensive snack if I eat the whole bag at once, which let’s face it, I will.

I’m eating ranch Corn Nuts right now. I love them. The salty, the crunchy, mmmm. FI thinks they are disgusting 🙂
I love raw veggies too – Carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc.

yeah, hummus is what I LOVE. if you want it to be healthier then dip veggies in it. the Sabra Pine Nut Hummus is freaking AMAZING with the Cracked Black Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits. Try it, you guys will be hooked instantly.

Healthy snack – fruit and yogurt
Unhealthy – tortilla chips with salsa or guacamole!

Pringles! I don’t like how crunchy Kettle Cooked chips are, but I love how “thin” Pringles are. The Xtreme flavors are good- I think the ones I usually get are Ragin Cajun and Sweet and Spicy BBQ? I’m also a big fan of hummus with baby carrots.

Kangaroo Multi Grain Pita Chips! I am obsessed with them. I made some homemade guac last week to eat with them. Most the time I just eat them with garlic hummus or on their own.

Cheez-its, yep. So good. The hot n spicy are good.

I like fruit, yogurt and granola, pretzels, peanut butter on rice cakes and air popped pop corn when I am trying to be healthy! When I don’t care about being healthy (or just have a huge craving that cannot be denied) it is definitely salt and vinegar or all dressed chips. YUM!

I’m a “salty” snacker, and I will ALWAYS choose potato chips (mainly kettle cooked, cape cod brand) over anything else!!! SO bad for you but SOOOO delicious.
