My ering is an asscher cut, but I also love round solitaries and halos. Ovals are gorgeous too! I guess I have 3 favourites 🙂

My E-ring is a Chaddagh, so the stone is a heart, which I love. But for a more common e-ring like a solitaire, round would be my pick.

My heart is set on cushions.  They simply take my breath away.

Pear shaped stones are my favorite 🙂

I love pears because they are more unusual and you can get a different look by turning your ring around 🙂

I love rounds, cushions, and emerald cuts the best. But honestly I like them all!

rosecut:  Old european cut for me, so round with a different faceting pattern. After that probably an old mine cut which was the precursor to cushion cut. Mmm.

However, I think you’re speaking even more generally, in which case my order goes:

    1. Rounds in general,
    2. cushion and oval,
    3. pear,
    4. marquise,
    5. trilliant (but only in a small size and a delicate setting).

I tend to not like too boxy or too rectangular cuts, such as emeralds, princess, asschers, or radiants. I’ve seen pretty rings in these shapes, but I don’t think I would choose them for myself. I seem to like the softening look of having some curve in the diamond shape.

I voted radiant only because thats what i have.  But i also adore pretty much everything accept marquise and pear. I originally wanted and asscher.

I have always loved emerald cut diamonds. The fact that they are not a popular cut makes it even more enticing. I have one and love the way it flashes bold streaks of light and fire.

Love cushions! Princess cuts are my second favorite. Not a huge fan on rounds (on me).

Emerald followed by asscher and than oval.  My first, long ago ring was an oval that I think I wil give to my oldest when he decides to propose {if he wants it}.

I have an emerald cut, but I also love rounds and cushions. Asschers and ovals have also taken on more appeal for me as I’ve seen more beautiful examples of each. Really, I just love diamonds! 🙂
