I'm eating some fabulous cantelope right now, and wanted to see what all you ladies are enjoying this summer.  I usually try and pick my own strawberries but didn't get to this year.  I bought some awesome cheap blueberries yesterday too! (4 for $6!).

What are you ladies enjoying this summer? :)

I love melons too! Cantaloupe, honeydew, and I just tried something called a canary melon (I think). Mmm... summer fruit!

Peaches and nectarines. I lived in Las Vegas for three years, recently moved, and will really miss going into the grocery store and being able to smell the delicious peaches that were just brought in from California.

Frozen grapes! It's the best snack to cool down in this Texas heat.

Rainier cherries! They're only good and affordable in July though. But watermelon and strawberries are up there, too.

I had strawberries, blackberries, and greek yogurt this morning though with a little bit of pomegranate juice on top! YUM!

I forgot about cherries!!  I bought some for $1.97 a pound last week and that is a steal around here!! And of course peaches. And watermelon.  And @emg, man, I liove frozen grapes!  Since I'm not eating ice cream these days that's as close as I get!

My all time favorite berry for a pie is a dewberry.  Have any of you heard of it? No one usually has.  My grandparents used to grow them on their farm in Kansas. THey're really big, and are just perfect for pies.  They are hard to pick though because of their realllly sharp stickers though!

I like cherries and strawberries, and my husband really likes watermelon.  Strawberries have been pretty affordable and watermelon are getting better.  Cherries are a little bit of a splurge for us right now.  We are both really missing the pineapple we had on our honeymoon! Somehow it was so much better than the pineapple we have here!

Oh my, do I have to pick one favorite fruit? My fridge is constantly loaded up with yummy summer goodness - right now we have plums, peaches, mangos, asian pears, cherries and some kind of melon. We love berries too, but i must say that lychees are my absolute favorite - followed by all the stone fruits :) yum!

I LOVE summer fruit!  Blueberries!  Cherries!  Strawberries!  Watermelon!

I actually made some delicious blueberry muffins with some great blueberries I bought at the farmer's market.  Fresh produce is one of my favorite things about summer!

We've pulled 9 cantalopes out of the garden thus far, and they've been delicious! My favorite fruit in the world is strawberries though, but we're way past that season! We have some small musk melons, Charentais, and watermelons on the way, though I don't care for watermelon (Moon & Stars Red variety and Orangeglo). I love white peaches to bits, but just haven't had any really good ones from the local farms this year What's your favorite summer fruit? : wedding Icon Sad I eat tomatos like apples, but only when I've just picked them from the plant!

@Kara - I love dewberries!  My uncle some on his farm in northern MI... I grew up eating them!  Most people think they are just blackberries, no one believes me when I tell them they're different!

Cherries for me :) And plums. Hubby hates melon so I don't get much of those but we have some cantaloupe in the fridge! I also looooove fresh juicy tomatoes from the summer (I hate winter tomatoes...) but they haven't been too good yet this summer (I heard there was a disease outbreak in tomato fields). Corn hasn't been so good this year either, but maybe that's because I'm not in Indiana anymore lol I miss my winter Pomegranates though lol
