I’m eating some fabulous cantelope right now, and wanted to see what all you ladies are enjoying this summer. I usually try and pick my own strawberries but didn’t get to this year. I bought some awesome cheap blueberries yesterday too! (4 for $6!).
What are you ladies enjoying this summer? 🙂

Peaches and nectarines. I lived in Las Vegas for three years, recently moved, and will really miss going into the grocery store and being able to smell the delicious peaches that were just brought in from California.

watermelon slices with a few lemon drops and a pinch of cayenne pepper!

Frozen grapes! It’s the best snack to cool down in this Texas heat.

Plums, peaches and nectarines… YUMMY!!

Rainier cherries! They’re only good and affordable in July though. But watermelon and strawberries are up there, too.
I had strawberries, blackberries, and greek yogurt this morning though with a little bit of pomegranate juice on top! YUM!

Ripe peaches are my favorite 🙂 Blueberries are a close second.

I forgot about cherries!! I bought some for $1.97 a pound last week and that is a steal around here!! And of course peaches. And watermelon. And @emg, man, I liove frozen grapes! Since I’m not eating ice cream these days that’s as close as I get!
My all time favorite berry for a pie is a dewberry. Have any of you heard of it? No one usually has. My grandparents used to grow them on their farm in Kansas. THey’re really big, and are just perfect for pies. They are hard to pick though because of their realllly sharp stickers though!

I like cherries and strawberries, and my husband really likes watermelon. Strawberries have been pretty affordable and watermelon are getting better. Cherries are a little bit of a splurge for us right now. We are both really missing the pineapple we had on our honeymoon! Somehow it was so much better than the pineapple we have here!
