So with Thanksgiving coming up I’m sure all of us are excited to ear our favorite Thanksgiving foods. But this got me thinking about what’s everyone’s favorite Thanksgiving food BESIDES the Thanksgiving classics of Turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans and sweet potatoes.
I love roasted brussel sprouts. And I also usually make a broccoli casserole which I’m very fond off. My Mother-In-Law makes roasted mushrooms with parsley and garlic which are to die for.

Green Bean Casserole. BOOM. I’m salivating just thinking about it right now…
OUTSIDE the box…butternut squash, maybe.

Stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, brussels sprouts (I have the best recipe)…I like to pile everything together on the plate and have a bit of each in every bite.
But I am not having Thanksgiving with my parents this year. =( My fiance’s mom is a great cook, but it’s just not the same. My mom makes this stuffing with hazelnuts in it…omg it’s so good…

I love cranberry (from the can) to eat with/on my turkey.
I tried real cranberries a few years ago and it just wasn’t the same. The canned stuff just has something about it! lol I always bring my own can now.

Stuffing–in all its glorious forms!
Speaking of Thanksgiving, anyone have an amazing recipe to share? I’m making healthy pumpkin butter to bring to Thanksgiving this year but I want to bring something else too, and I’d love to hear some more good recipes…
