You’re getting married at Casa Romantica?? That’s a gorgeous venue! That was a VERY close second choice for us, if we could do two weddings one would definitely be there. I love your gown as well, that was one of the gowns I bought but later sold. You’re having my alternative wedding 😀 I look forward to seeing your pictures and living vicariously (if I’m still on WB by then).
My favorite things were our venue (St.Regis Monarch Beach), our photographer (Jim Kennedy), my dresses and my veil – all combined in one photo here.

Mine is my venue and gown also. My venue is a old restored mansion with a stunning park right outside. I also just love my gown, love, love, love it.

Mine was our venue. It was outside at my aunt’s house. Loved it!

My ceremony: We wrote the entire thing ourselves and it was so personal and so very us I loved it!
My day of attire: I loved my make-up, my hair, my dress, my bouquet, my coloured crinoline everything. I felt like the most beautiful girl in the world that day!

Venue and Dress:
These are some pics of the venue. It’s not made up. We are having chair covers and beautiful beaded linens, along with custom flower and water centerpieces. It will be BEAUTIFUL on our wedding day! 🙂
And the Dress:

So far, my favorite thing is our centerpieces. We are making them ourselves and we sit down together to etch the vases and personalize our ribbons. We spend a couple of hours every other week or so making the vases. We laugh and enjoy our “wedding” time together.

my favorite thing is our band! it’s a 7 piece jazz band and i can’t wait!

My favorite things:
1) my wedding ring – it was my grandmother’s, it suits me perfectly (thin and delicate with a little sparkle), and it magically fit me.
2) the fact that so much of our wedding is being done by loved ones: my dress designer/maker, invite designer/printer, photographer, officiant, and the woman making my jewelry are all close friends or family friends. It’s also being held at my mom’s house. I love how personal this makes it feel.

@meliss: Oh i’ve seen this venue it is STUNNING! But so expensive 🙁
We picked the Casa Romantica because it over looks mine and my fiancés favorite old suf spots and also holds a lot of memories from our high school years. I just hope we can fit our 200 guests! lol
I love your dress as well. Maybe you have the wedding that I couldn’t really afford, hehe. I am curious why you sold the Oleg dress though. It’s a down right perfect beach princess dress with the organza overlay 🙂
I’ll definitely keep you in the loop with how my wedding will look and hopefully can send you photos 🙂
@kitzy: We are trying so hard to find a band.. people can been discouraging us but we love the ol’ singers and standards dancing type music and not top 40s. Any tips suggestions? Also how much did it cost?
@Monny: your aunts house rules! what a view!!

@His Lil SantosGirl: I bought this dress on a moment of insanity when I already had 3 others 🙂 I was worried my original dress looked terrible after alterations, and that another one I ordered wouldn’t arrive in time. This was meant to be a backup dress that I bought off the rack. Fortunately the others came through – I’d spent over $8K on them and really didn’t want them to go to waste. I sold to this beautiful Oleg dress to another local bride who looked lovely in it.
