Since the what’s for dinner post reminded me that I haven’t finalized my cooking plans, I’d love to hear everyone’s favorite salmon recipes! We like our’s blackened, brushed with butter & pan fried to medium rare.

This alllllways turns out amazing 🙂
If I’m freestyling, I’ll usually whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar and let it marinate then grill.

Smother it in thick teriyaki sauce, top with crushed pistachio, grill.

My fave is super duper easy:
1 tbsp of sun dried tomato pesto per piece (smooth it on)
Crumble feta cheese on top
Broil for 7 minutes and you’re done!!

This past weekend, we bbqed at the beach and a friend made salmon on the grill. Teriyaki sauce, a thin layer of mayo (sounds kinda gross but was really good), and sprinkled with lots of furikake! Covered it in foil and cooked it on the grill.. Soo good. She usually makes it in the oven.
We usually stuff it with crab, onions, mushrooms, mayo and some green onions. Bake (or steam) and enjoy 🙂

I wrote this on the other thread, but I like to make this dry rub (originally for ribs, but I use it on EVERYTHING):
then broil, and squeeze lemon on afterwards.

- Wedding: November 2012 - Oak Tree Manor
Baked, with a balsamic-Dijon glaze! (I really despise dried-out fish, so I bake it wrapped in foil and it turns out buttery and yummy.)
