Were doing Michael Buble "I've Got the World on a String" for us and "All Shook Up" by Elvis for our bridal party!
LOL! We're lovers of old TV themes, so we've thrown around the American Gladiators theme or the A Team theme!
We did Let's Get It Started for our wedding party. Afterwards, we both wished that we had done I've Got A Feeling!
For us, we did All I Want Is You from Juno- everyone said it was a perfect song for us and kept telling us how cute it was!
Edit- Whitesonnet, we did the A-team theme for the guys' entrance at the ceremony... it got us a lot of laughs :)
We want to go with something fun like "Crazy in love"!
Not sure what ours will be, but it will have a caribbean flair, since we're having some fun island music! Possibly Michael Franti's "I Love You"! That one is so cute and upbeat.
Chris Brown "Forever" but I really want to do Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feeling" ---- except my FIs good friends used that exact song for their entrance a few months ago so I'm not sure if that would be lame or not to copy! haha
Consider a jazz/swing/classical piece since your MC will be talking over it and everyone will be clapping and focused on you.
We're not being announced or having a grand entrance, but if we were, we'd probably choose "This Will Be Our Year" by the Zombies.
Were using the theme from Rocky... my Fi thinks it's tacky when the bridal party dances in, I know, he's lame! hahaha... My original idea was Black Eyed Peas....
We're thinking "City of Blinding Lights" by U2. Which is weird, because neither of us really likes U2 - but we do like that song and it fits.
Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"...don't really know all the words but it only plays for a short time and we've always liked it
We're doing Red Sweater by The Aquanauts I believe. They're a semi-local Mormon group and very funny/silly. It's pretty much the only love song that they do and I think one of our GM's is planning on using the lyrics from another song (Lobsters in a Bucket) for his speech.
We're big cheese balls so we're having our grand entrance to Phil Collin's "Two Hearts" - we love it!
I think we are going to play the fight song from our school!
I think we're going to do "The Final Countdown" by Europe. Yes, an 80's hair band. It's kind of a joke because we got the idea from Job on Arrested Development. It's the ridiculously dramatic song he uses for his magic shows. It will be so fun!
Unfortunately, my FI wants Lil' Wayne's "Fireman" (the clean version) for the bridal party and us. He hasn't asked for much (re: anything) so I may have to let him have it.
i've got a few in mind...haven't decided yet.

or
"girl at the rock show" by Blink 182 since the entire song pretty much describes the start of our relationship.

@marjojo I'm debating on having that for my bridal procession. But like the piano or instrumental version (as in on violin, etc).

We're doing "Livin On a Prayer" by Bon Jovi and we are super excited!! Not sure yet about the bridal party
"For Once in My Life" by Stevie Wonder
I wanted to use a fun rap song, but FI said no.. he thinks they're "inappropriate" lol. It's okay though, Stevie Wonder songs are so happy!
My fiance and I just had this convo over dinner....we really wanted to have something sweet but funny....we are thining of doing the "wanna grow old with you" song by adam sandler in the wedding singer....but it may be too slow we will see!
