I have been wanting to start this thread for a while now. I guess its just out of curiousity? Also for fun. As women, it really SUCKS to get hair where you don't want/need it, right? & It seems like no one ever talks about it. So that is what this thread is for. I am going to add a poll so no one has to admit to anything. Just vote if you want! If I leave something out that you shave/wax/pluck but never talk about you can PM & tell me what to add (I promise I will keep your secret.)

I'll vote once more bee's do so I don't give myself away. hahaha I added as many as I could think of, so if any was left out let me know.

LOL this should be interesting! This is so gross but I get these hairs that grow kind of long on the tops of my toes! It's so weird and I hate them so I shave them. Sometimes I forget though and they grown in and totally gross me out. That happened last week and I showed DH for the first time, we've never even talked about me shaving them. He thought it was hilarious!

Don't worry girls I shave my toes, too! :P I would rather shave them then have the hairs all long & gross looking! (Plus they're black!) So there is no hiding them.

I have one dark boob/nipple hair that pops up every few months or so - that I pluck!

And one chin hair that grows out of a scar that I have under my chin.

I think you should add boob/nipple hair to the poll as I am sure there are other ladies with a couple strays in that location ;-)

ETA: I shave my big toes too!!!!

Can you add an all of the above button lol.

I am genetically hairy, as is my whole family.  I use Nair on the facial regions (upper lip and chin especially).  I shave my toes, and I am going to be doing the knuckles of my fingers with Nair just before the wedding...I do NOT want hairy knuckles in my pics!

I also have them on my toes that I wax. I voted on my stomach, I have this very thin line of hair going down my belly button and it drives me nuts. I wear a belly ring and that just drives me insane, so I also wax it.

I shave my toes and feet everyday which my husband thought was weird but I think he totally would rather I do that then have hairy feet.  I also shave my stomach a little bit.  I think I started when I had a few hairs I hated and now I just do it all the time.

Gosh I shave a few more "odd" spots than that.

I despise the peach fuzz on my face so I remove that.  I also shave my ass and pluck strays on my nips too.  Oh and I have random hairs below my belly button ever since I got a tattoo there.

I would love to shave or do something about my arms, but I dont for fear of the new growth stuble stage.  I jsut accept that I have pretty hairy arms for a girl.  Other than that, I'm pretty lucky that there isnt much hair other than the usuals that we have to take care of.

@couawilou: I do the very same with my belly! I too have a belly ring. Its been there since I was very young. IDK when I am going to take it out. :/ It seems weird without it. But once I got it I started shaving my belly area in the same spot as you.

@Future Mrs. Martin:Yes!!! I have one dark boob hair on each one that comes up every so often. It's so weird because I'm dirty blonde but those hairs are like black!

I feel so much better about the toe hair now :)

I have the hairy toe problem, too. So embarassing, but less embarassing to know I'm not alone.

I'm blonde, but my eyebrows are pretty dark, so if I try to grow them out, I look like a werewolf. -_-

And one time I had a black hair growing on the side of my chin, and my FI pulled it out (mortified) and now I have 3 more in its place. :(

@pinkshoes: Yea, my arms are a little hairy for a woman, too. But they're not as black as my leg hair or as thick. So I leave them alone. (I did however shave them in middle school.) Which probably only made it worse!

@mrscheetos: Aw. :( I remember when I first found my chin hair! I freaked out!!!!!!!!!!! I told my husband as soon as he got home from work. He didn't seem to think it was strange. (Thank God!!!!!!) But now it comes back every couple of months. :/

I love this, and I've actually ahd a few convo's about this with friends and fam.

I get a few lovely chin hairs that I HATE. If one goes unnoticed til its pretty long I tell FI that his very own lively hood is determined on whether or not he points these out. I need to know! In my circle we like to call these "NANNNNNNNY GOAT HAIRS", which must be said in a voice that kinda nays, how one would picture a goat saying if it could talk. (My brother and I came up with this when we would see my mom plucking them when we were little haha).

I also get the stray boob hair, not nice! I pluck them.

Sometimes I wax my arms, the hair has thinned pretty good so not as much anymore.

I shave my toes and nair my upper lip, a girls got to do what a girls got to do!

I do the upper lip, too. :/ Like @nickels: said a girls got to do what a girls got to do!

Are we talking but cheeks or more... inward? because I get the inward stuff when I get everything else down there... Other than that I have been blessed with being reletively unwanted hair free.

@Ms Hedgehog: haha i was wondering the same thing about the butt hair, I'm guessing the hair hair isnt on the cheek itself but more inbetween atleast thats what I have..   I also do upper lip once a every few months and them tummy. I have one hair near my nipple but I'm scared to touch it.

@Mrs.Estep: I feel like waxing hurts more, but I have been threading since I was 13, so about 8 years. If you have a good threader though, it shouldnt hurt too bad, and I feel like its a much smoother finish

I have PCOS and found out that the hair that I never talked about shaving has just about EVERYTHING to do with that.  I pluck the hair on my chest, but the rest (toes, chin, upper lip) all get shaved.

@Future Mrs. Martin: Ditto on the lone, dark, pluckable boob hair and the hair growing out of the chin scar. Also I have a LDPBH growing out of my belly about an inch below my belly button.

And I shave my toes whenever I shave my legs. It's not terribly noticable, but it irks me.

I didn't do much, but what I did do didn't hurt. I will give that a try for sure! Thanks for the tip. :-)

oh yay, I'm not the only hairy freak!  the worst in that damn chin hair though, it gets really long and then I'll be in a meeting or something and realise it's there and completely freak out trying to pull it out without anyone noticing.  and sometimes i see old ladies with REALLY long chin hair and I just know that will be me in 60 years, because my vision will be so bad and I just won't care enough to check.
