i don’t dislike any of those stones but if i had to pick my least favourite, it would be emerald.  i have all of the other stones.

@Arshim:  I don’t really like red, so ruby is my least favourite, unless it’s a more pink stone. I love diamond because it’s white and goes with everything; and I love sapphire (again depending on the shade; some are very dark, I prefer richer, bluer ones).

There is however a bee with the most gorgoeus art deco diamond and ruby ring, and I have to say, that one has made me feel differently about rubies; it’s stunning!

ETA: just saw you added more options! In which case garnet is probably my least favourite due to it being quite dark (the ones I’ve seen).

TBH though there are very few stones I wouldn’t ever want to own; I would happily own jewellery featuring any of the stones you’ve listed.

I don’t dislike any of them TBH. I grew up not really like my mom’s peridot jewelry, however, all of her jewelry was yellow gold. Once I received a peridot set in silver I realized I liked the stone, just not set in yellow gold.

If I had to choose my last favorite it would probably be ruby. I think there is gorgeous ruby jewelry out there but it would probably be my last choice of stone.

I voted other because really for me it’s all about context.  There are some stones that I think I really don’t like, but then I’ll see one used in a really cool way or an unusual setting that I’ll love.  Also some look great for other people but I can’t pull off.  So basically the most noncommittal answer ever, haha.

I like everything when done right 🙂 But if I had to pick a least favorite I would say opal because I don’t care for opaque gemstones.

I had to Google many of them because I wasn’t sure what they were. My birthday gem is Garnet and I like its color. I would say my least favorite is Opal. From that list, I like the majority of gems including pearls.

I voted for emerald, only because i seriously loathe the color green… Bleh. And honestly I don’t know that I really like the emerald cut either, but to each their own. That’s why we have all different options to choose from. 🙂

My least favorite is Peridot.  I just dont like the light shade of green – prefer emeralds.

I always thought Rainbow Calsilica was pretty obnoxious looking. From the list, I guess I’d be least likely to wear pearls.

Peridot. And since my birthday is in August, I have never owned any birthstone jewelry

Other: I don’t like anything ‘lab created’ so be it a sapphire, ruby, emerald, etc. I love anything that was created naturally, I see a beauty in its color and imperfections. I have found the simulated stone’s colors to be too bright. Like the OP said, I am not trying to offend anyone, some people may prefer the bolder color of a simulated stone, and that’s why they exist. I just personally don’t care for them.

Of this list, I gotta say diamond.  I always go for jewelry with unique colors and stones, and diamonds have never really fit in with my personal style.  I love diamonds, but they’re not really for me.
