What are your weight loss goals, either prior to your big day or just in general to be a healthier you?

    For me:

5 lbs. from now: My high school graduation weight (it's been since 2003)

6 lbs: 40 lbs. lost since Spring 2010

7 lbs: Driver's license weight!! Also, the max weight I want to be to begin the wedding gown search.

10 lbs: My BMI goes from "overweight" to "normal"

12 lbs: Ultimate wedding goal weight

    You??

I started on a weight-loss journey last April -- recovered from two reconstructive knee surgeries, and finally at the point where I could exercise again.  While I'm still feeling the effects of the surgeries, I am able to exercise again.  I've lost 35 pounds so far, and I went from a size 12 to a size 4/6.  My goal originally was another 15 pounds, but now, it's really just to get rid of the belly pooch that I have left!

I started trying to lose weight after I was in my friends wedding in November 2010 - lost 35 lbs then had 2 knee surgeries so my activity level went down and I gained back about 8 of those lbs - now I'm finally able to exercise again so I'm trying to get back down to my lowest weight by the wedding.  got about 5 lbs to go :)

I graduated high school weighing 135. Gained the exact freshman 15. Was 150 when I conceived my daughter. 195 at delivery. Was down to 160 by the time she was two years old. Now she's 3 1/2 and I'm back up to 177. Ultimately, I want to get back down to 135. 42 is the magic number for me!

Mine's a little different, a lot more extreme I guess you'd say. I was 290+ lb. a year ago. I've been losing weight for the past year, and while it's been a struggle I've managed to completely get rid of 31 lb. I've done it through healthy eating, exercise and cutting out all soda, almost all alcohol/caffeine and most sugar (still struggling with sugar). My goal for 2012 is to lose around 98 lb. which will put me where I was in high school before my weight gain. I'll probably order my dress around then.

My ultimate goal is 120-140, wherever my body decides it likes to be. BMI says I should be 119, but ahahaha okay. I plan to build way too much muscle for that weight :)

Starting weight was 174 about 6 months ago when I started going back to the gym and watching what I eat, I'm down to 150 now, and I would really like to get back down to 135! 15 more pounds to go! :)

Today I measured myself and have lost 4 inches since December 24th.

I have lost 20lbs since my highest weight ever, and 16lbs since starting Weight Watchers.  I'm 2.7lbs away from the goal WW set for me when I started in October.

I recently bought denim in a size I haven't seen for about 4 years.

I would like to lose 15 more pounds by mid-April, but my goal is to lose 27 more in total which would put me back at like Freshman year of high school weight.

My number is 48, which is the total amount of weight I would like to have lost from my heaviest to my goal.

well, 2 more lbs, and I'm back to pre-honeymoon weight. 8-10 and I'm back to freshman year of college. 25 and I'm to my driver's license (wow that's scary!)

6 is my total lost right now :)

11 more pounds to my goal of 145.  If i could make it to 135, college graduation weight that would be awesome but I think my eating habits are actually too healthy for that now.  I started in August at 169 (ahh!) now down to 156. Was hoping to hit 145 by my first fitting on Feb 26th but we will see how that goes, I do want to be to at least 150 by that point though.

I was 160 lbs. in Sept. 2010. Thanks to sparkpeople.com, I was 120 lbs. by June 2011. I have since put 10 lbs. back on, delibrately! I didn't like how my face and breasts looked at 120.

I was 220 at my highest weight.  I am 205 now.  I would like to get down to 140, so I guess that is a huge 65lbs.  It seems like such a huge number, so I try to break it down to little goals, like under 200, under 180 ect.

I too am a bit of the extreme situation.

After college I weighed over 300 pounds and from 2008-2010 lost 120 pounds and have kept it off.

I would love to lose another 20 pounds or so but I doubt that will happen given my already healthy eating style and activity levels...it refuses to budge.

I have NOT been able to shake the 9 pounds to my goal weight since LAST January.  Right before the wedding I was 2 pounds away...and then the wedding...and now I'm back up to 9 pounds away.  Fail.

    April 1 - 155

    October 1 - 138

    Today - 141

My lucky number is 6lbs...I'd like to weigh 135 and then from there I just want to tone without a number target until I have the lean muscle I want.  I think ideally 130 would be great but I loved how I looked at 138 so I am shooting for 135 now and anything else is bonus!

As someone who struggled with extreme disordered eating, it's hard for me to set a normal goal. For the record, I'm 5'9". At my lowest I was 115 pounds (scary), I tend to hang out around 135-140 when not trying to gain or lose, I was 130 when I got married (husband thinks that's too thin), and I'm currently . . . more than I want to be. In five more pounds I will finally not be suicidal every time I step on the scale, but I'd still have 10 more pounds to go after that to be "happy." UGH. I know I'll be happier at a lower weight but after having been so psychotic about dieting, losing weight makes me anxious because I'm afraid I won't know when to stop and/or it will consume my entire life!

LOL. I think this belongs in a different thread.

I'm 5'3" and my highest weight was 153lbs in grad school. Lowest weight I've been since I reached my max height was 97 lbs when I was in my mid-teens and eating next to nothing because I stupidly believed the mean girls at school when they told me I was fat.

    I'm currently 136lbs, which is...

    - 17lbs less than my heaviest

    - 20lbs more than my driver's license claims

    - 6lbs more than at my wedding

    - 16lbs away from my goal of 120lbs

Well I definitely can't wait to hit the gym in a week! I've been out of commision for a while, and I think I can tell by the way my clothes are fitting. However, my weight hasn't fluctuated that much the past couple months. Last I checked I was 135 lbs. That's about 3 lbs over what I was in the beginning of December. So I am:

Hoping to fit back into my magic white pants, probably lose 3 lbs.

5 lbs lighter than my drivers liscense states

12 lbs lighter than I was a year ago :)

I've got 30 lbs to go... ugh, it sounds like so much.  I was just diagnosed with PCOS after gaining 35 over the past year.  I'm down 5, but it's a frustrating process.

I started a weight loss journey two years ago.. I am 5'7" and I was up to a high of 181! I got down to 155, but have since gained some weight. I am around 161 now... so 20 lbs down. I would love to get down to at least 145... so that's 15 more lbs. I have a large frame, and at 140, I was told I looked too thin by a lot of people. So 15 for me :D Just want to lose it finally..
