I'm sure I'll be able to add to this list after my wedding. I always do embarrassing things :-/
Whoah. Mrs. Flamingo, I am totally terrified of flashing people at our wedding! I have to go braless for the dress to fit right and I'm kinda paranoid about it.
*prays no one takes this post as a invitation to crash and pull down her dress*
It's not mine, but it was pretty bizarre when my friend's mother started yelling at people how to do the hora and that no one was doing it right. she started grabbing people to direct them and eventually grabbed her daughter (the bride) and swung her around wildly. Then she demanded everyone lift her in a chair ( I thought only the Bride and Groom went up, but maybe that's part of the hora) it was just weird...
MsBunny.... My dress didnt fall down... its when I was getting ready that they saw my ladies free. LOL
Ha ha. I think my photographer got a pic of me in my bra and spanks. I totally forgot that I had brought a robe to avoid those sort of pcitures. OPPS!!
Definitely my one horrible trip to the bathroom. My dress was too big to fit in the teensy little stalls, and halfway through the pee session, a bunch of non-wedding guests (country club members) walked in to see my MOH holding my dress up for me.
Hahaha Mrs. F! You called him your boss' name? I love it ![]()
I don't know what my most embarrassing moment would be! It's possible at one point that I grabbed the mic & started singing...oops.
I didn't know I was flashing people all night until my pro pics came back! There's more than one (but less than 50
) pictures that show some nipple. And our photographers were awesome but a pretty conservative Mormon couple, so I feel uncomfortable asking them to photoshop it out... Oh well, at least I'm smiling in all those pictures!
These are too funny!
I didn't have anything majorly embarrassing, but for some reason (probably nerves) right before the ceremony began, my stomach starting making crazy noises. Like everyone around me could hear it because it was so loud. There's actually a really funny picture of me holding my stomach looking pretty rough. My DOC was so worried I was going to throw up or poop my pants, she stalled the ceremony for a few minutes.
My mom was embarrassing when she flipped out at my photographer for suggesting that anyone but her help me get dressed!
Funny/embarrassing, one of my best friends totally took a face plant while she was trying to chase her husband around to smash cake in his face, AND my husband caught the whole thing on tape. It is by far one of the funniest moments I've ever seen at a wedding.
In that same wedding, I was a bridesmaid. My escort wanted to lift me up on his shoulder as we walked in. He got me up there, but my crash landing onto the dance floor was pretty amazing. It's a good thing the bride was a great sport about me falling and her falling!
@mlkeysock - i just laughed out loud! LOL That would be something I do... take a faceplant chasing FH around hahaha...
Oh it was so amazing. She laughs about it to this day which is all you can do. My husband caught it perfectly too...she was running and on the camera, then all of a sudden, you just see her go down and completely disappear from sight, then she's right back up. It was classic. I'm cracking up right now just picturing it again.
It's not like I was any better with the groomsman dropping me on the dance floor! Now that I think about it, her mom tripped down the stairs while the mothers were lighting the candles next to the unity candle. She was fine of course, but I've never seen so many people fall at one wedding before!
Wowee, these are funny. I'm sure I'll have a list of them after my wedding!
Mrs. Flamingo, I love yours too...calling Mr. by your boss's name is entirely too funny.
I'm waiting for some more of these! I want to hear all the funny stories even if they weren't at your wedding!
We went to break the glass at the end, and it wouldn't break. NotFroofy and I tried doing it in unison. Then my son (the dude of honor) tried to help. Then NotFroofy actually stood on it. Then I stood on it. Then the rabbi picked it up to see if someone had accidentally put a rock in place of the glass. Finally, NotFroofy managed to position herself just right to get it to smash. Just as well, as I was by then contemplating what would happen if I threw it out the window.
At a wedding that I was a MOH in, the MOB's best friend had a broken leg and her arm was bandaged up. She went to the restroom which had no frills as in no full length mirror and went back to her table. Only to realize that it was a little too breezy. Here her skirt had gotten caught and was showing her behind... and because of the wrapped arm crutches situation she didn't realize it until she was no longer in the restroom. She has been life long friends of the family and everyone knew her so it was definitely one of those most embarrassing moments! Fortunately she has a good sense of humor and friends who rescued her ASAP!
