All I know for sure right now is that I want the Gloria by David Haas but I'm not sure if that's going to happen.

@KLP2010: When I was listening to your Sanctus, I pictured a bride walking up the aisle to something like that and got goosebumps.

We are both of Irish descent, and both love Irish music. Our songs are songs that are commonly sung at the church we both attend and are to the tune of celtic songs (three of them are actually Scottish I think). We wanted up-beat, happy sounding music for the Mass.

All I know is I really want Jesu, Joy of man's desiring for the processional, and The Servant's Song for communion. And probably City of God for the recessional.

My wedding song list updated! I finally found a pianist/organist, and here's the "rough draft" song list we've come up with. (I like the traditional stuff, but threw in a few of my own personal picks, including one song in Spanish as a nod to my FI's family who come from Mexico.)

Prelude: Canon in D - Pachelbel, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring - JS Bach

Processional: Largo (Xerxes) - Handel, Bridal Chorus - Wagner

Responsorial: Blest are Those who Love you

Mass setting (Alluluia, Holy, etc): Mass of Light but I would have preferred Mass of a Joyful Heart

Gathering of gifts: Prayer of St. Francis ("Make me a channel of your peace") or maybe We Have been Told

Communion: Pescador de Hombres, You are Mine (not as sleepy as this version though)

Closing: Wedding March - Mendelssohn

Postlude: Ode to Joy - Bethoven
