Are you being introduced then doing your dance or toasts or cut the cake???
My venue states that we need to cut the cake early after intros or it won’t be plated for dessert. they recommend intro, cake cutting, blessing, toasts dinner. After dinner, the first dance, special dances then start the party
Just trying to see what everyone else is doing. Thanks ladies

We are being introduced and immediately doing our first dance. then dinner, dancing, then cake cutting bouquet toss/garter toss, then more dancing…thats the rough timeline anyway

Here’s ours, but we’re still tweaking:
1) Wedding party and parent intro
2) Intro of Mr. & Mrs.
3) First dance (Mr. & Mrs.)
5) Let’s eat (Bride and groom doing table rounds instead of a receiving line)
7) Father/daughter dance
8) Mother/son dance
9) Let’s party
10) Generations dance (please suggest a time)
11) Cut the cake (please suggest a time)
12) The party continues
We’re still deciding if to move the toasts before dinner; the day-of coordinator suggested it but I’m worried we will be making people wait too long before they eat.

Do you have a DJ? Ours was emcee for the night and basically controlled how things ran. It made my life so much easier! It was all a blur but ours was
Intro of Bridal Party
Intro of Mr. & Mrs.
Bridal party got food, then guests dismissed to get food
Bride and Groom’s First Dance
Father Daughter/ Mother Son Dances
