If you drink, what do you drink most of all? What do you order at the bar? I don't have one particular drink, but I've got a few:
If I'm out to dinner and want something to drink with my dinner, I'll get a glass of Malbec or Pinot Grigio.
If I'm somewhere kind of swank, I'll order an extra dirty Ketel One martini, straight up, extra olives.
If I'm somewhere where everyone is drinking beer, I'll usually order something simple, like a Yuengling Lager. I used to like the darker, hoppier beers, but I'm not too crazy about them anymore.
If I'm at a Mexican or Cuban place, I'll get a margarita or mojito.
And my two favorite drinks to make at home are Mount Gay rum with pineapple juice and Sweet Tea vodka with water and lemon.
Captain and Diet. Almost exclusively.
But I can certainly get on board with the Firefly+Lemonade on a hot summer day at home.
i enjoy wine =] reds are new to me but i prefer merlot or even for white a chardonnay
but as for the hard I enjoy scotch.

I love a well made Crown and coke (or really any well-made decent whiskey and coke for that matter)!
At home though, I also really enjoy making myself more girly drinks like sangria, margaritas, and strawberry daquaris.
I also have one or two restaurants where I will order their flavored mojitos because they are superb (but most other places, I'm slightly unimpressed by the mojitos).
And I'm kind of a beer snob but any good Belgian will make my day.
I'm generally a beer drinker. My go-to beer used to be Bud Light, but I have recently switched to Molson Canadian. At Mexican restaurants, I order Corona. Unless I'm in Texas, then sometimes I'll have Tecate, just for fun. But typically when I'm in Texas, I drink Shiner Bock.
If I'm at someplace a little fancier, or at a nice dinner, or with coworkers or something, I'll order wine - usually Pinot Grigio or Riesling.
I have given up liquor for good, and for good reason :)
lately - double vodka, splash of pinapple and orange juice.. preferably with fruit. double preferably with a funky straw and umbrella.
uhg how could i forget haha im very big on a 151 and diet coke with lime its delicious.
I love strawberry margaritas or strawberry daiquiris! I also love a good mojito :]
I was loving hypnotiq there for a while but got sick of that pretty quickly!
I'm also a big fan of raspberry lemon drop martinis!!
oooh... i was recently introduced to the sweet tea vodka... like jeremiah weed or firefly... i mix it with a little bit of iced tea and/or lemonade, it is great!
I HATE the taste of alcohol, so if I'm looking for something fun to drink I go with a margarita or daiquiri :D If it is more of a house party type thing I really like Smirnoff Ice and Mike's Hard.

I am a vodka cranberry kinda gal for a party!
But I will also drink sweet whites and light reds with dinner or a quiet night in!
In summer: white wine or white wine spritzer, usually with a sauvingnon blanc or an on-the-drier-side riesling; seabreezes (cranberry and grapefruit juices with vodka); bellinis.
In winter: A cab sauv
At a bar: vodka soda with lime
Other drinks I enjoy but don't drink as often: mojitos (but none are ever as good as the ones I get in Cuba!), margaritas, champagne.
I like fruity drinks, like margaritas (esp flavored ones, like mango or strawberry), daquiris, midori drinks, etc..
um holy moly i could live off bloody marys.
my friends make fun of me cause i will literally order one at 2am and not think anything of it...love them! Vodka/pineapple is my other go-to drink.
Glad to see that there are some other girls here who enjoy a stiff drink.

I think it's pretty good with absolut, lovely with Kettle One and to die for with Ciroc. And if you stuff gorgonzola into the big green olives, kudos to you.
MMMM.. now I'm craving one after a long day of work, and 5 days before my wedding :) hehe.
I like Spanish red wines. And lemon drop martinis, but only if it's just vodka and freshly squeezed lemon juice. I hate when places get lazy and put sour mix in there.

At the bar: vodka tonic double lime
At dinner in a restaurant: red wine - cab sauv, merlot or malbec
Out for drinks somewhere swank - Fruity martini or red wine
Out at a pub: amber or dark beer or an extra spicy caesar
Generally, I'm a sweet drink girl (my grandmomma was a Southern Belle, so I'm addicted to Sweet Tea).
Right now, I'm in LOVE with Earl Grey Marteanis...
For wine, I love a good Pinot Noir or Riesling...a Gerwurtzerminer is yum, too. But my favorite is Pouilly-Montrachet...delicious white (& not sweet at all).
As for beer, I like Belgian Whites...for domestic I go with Blue Moon (& a twist of orange); imported, I'm a Leffe girl. When I'm feeling rebellious, I like a Sam Adams Winter Lager.

Cocktail I order most out is: gin and tonic (with Bombay Sapphire or Tanquery gin) - pretty hard to mess that one up.
I’m not a fan of fruity cocktails anymore (drank too many in college lol).
Favorite cocktails to make at home (FH is a fab mixologist!): Gin martini, dry with a twist (Bombay sapphire again), mojito (I almost never order one out, as they never spend enough time crushing the mint leaves, or using good simple syrup). Also love a good mint julup.
For fancy dinners out, I like to start with a glass of champagne.
Always wine, generally red. I prefer bold reds, and non-oaky whites.
For beer, my favorites are Shipyard (local microbrew), Smithwicks, Hite or Negra Modelo.
Beer: Left Hand Milk Stout or Bell's Two Hearted Ale
Mixed: Vodka Gimlet or Bloody Mary (doesn't matter what time of day. I've been getting them w/ my free drink tickets on planes lately)
Wine: Zinfandel (NOT White Zin. Red Zin!) or Syrah/Shiraz.
fruit daiquiris, tom collins, vodka collins, guinness, any dark beers, most red wines.

@Lergx6: How did you learn about the gimlet? FH and I love them in summer, made with gin instead of vodka (oops, need to add them to my list). We found them/the recipe for them in Raymond Chandler’s novel “The Long Goodbye”, no one we’ve made them for had heard of them before, which is amazing as they are so easy to make and so gosh darn delicious! ;-)
At a full bar that doesn't have an interesting cocktail list, I usually order a whiskey or bourbon press, which is with half sprite or 7-up and half club soda.
I do like interesting cocktails, though, and I stick in the whiskey/bourbon/rye universe, UNLESS I'm doing some serious partying, in which case I opt for something vodka or gin to prevent too crazy of a hangover.
I'm easy on wine, and I've only met a handful of beers I didn't like. And I've met a lot of beers.
Wine: something white, like pinot grigio or albarino
hard stuff: lately, it's been dirty martinis, but if I'm out at a bar, vodka and soda does the trick.
beer: never order beer, but if I have to, it'll be a blue moon or hoegaarden.
All of the above! I'm partial to wine, especially Italian reds. If it's warm out and we're ordering by the glass, I always go Sauvignon Blanc, though, because the boy hates it so we never get it at home.
Scotch in the winter - the peatier the better. I love the taste of non-malty beers (anything hoppy, nutty, wheaty... just not that sweet malty taste like a lot of British Browns or Belgians or bland American macro-brews), but the carbonation always gets to me. I love a good margarita, usually on the rocks though I make exceptions for the heat. OMG Chartreuese - does anyone else drink this?? Oh, and I totally can't forget Port. Or frangelico. Dark and stormies.
Sometimes I get annoyed when I start to get tipsy because I'm a lightweight and there are so many things I want to drink!
Parrot bay and pineapple juice mostly, but I've come to know and love St. Germaine (straight on ice) lately. :)

If i go to a bar and am in the mood for a mixed drink it will always be
Mai Tai or redbull&greygoose.
Captain and coke is my #1
Whiskey, mainly crown royal..
Also really love cranberry & vodkas or a good cosmo
Wine - White Zinfandel (Yum yum yum...) or a fruitier white, like a Reisling. Not a big fan of red wines.
Cocktail - usually vodka-cranberry (had a bad run-in with rum after my 18th birthday so not a big rum and coke fan)
Blended - anything. Yes I will drink rum in a blended beverage. I love margaritas, daiquiris, bellinis, oh the list could go on. Blended makes everything better, I tell ya!
Winter - I do love me some Baileys and coffee. But I also think Peppermint Schnapps and Hot Chocolate/Coffee is delightful!
Beer - not so much.
Liquor: cranberry & vodka if the bar doesn't have any unique cocktails, something off the cocktail menu if it does.
Beer: Any kind of brown ale.
Wine: Anything. I am really not picky when it comes to wine.
Mmmmmm. I love drinking.
Depends what im doing-
Club dancing- Knee High ( 3 olives grape sprite n cran with lime) or 3 olives grape n redbull
Dinner- a Martini (chocolate matrini= YUM)
Depends on my mood I guess. I wll go with bacardi/orange juice, x-rated/sprite, budlight 7oz, or x-rated/vueve cliquot(only at high end functions). Every once in a blue moon I crave a grey goose dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives - darn now I really want one.
