I’ve started doing a vitalize peel every month for the past 3 months. I’m 37 and want my skin to be as best as it can for my wedding day. My skin feels great so far and my next appointment I am supposed to get microdermabrasion and a deep pore cleansing facial (mainly blackhead removal).
Has anyone else done either peels or microdermabrasion? Did it make a difference? I don’t have problem skin (except slight dryness when the seasons change) so I don’t know what difference I’m really expecting for myself. They did say the peels would lighten my “sun spots” (aka freckles) but I haven’t noticed a difference in those as I’ve had freckles since I was 5.

I’m doing photo facials for three months, then I might do some microderm. I also use Retin-A, which is awesome, and I have had dermal fillers and will probably need a little more. I’m in my 40’s.

I have thought of dermal fillers too but have been scared. I might do it after the wedding but hestitant before.
What are photo facials and has it made a difference for you?

I haven’t actually put too much thought into the skin regime, except to moisturize really well, and have an excellent foundation. My skin is already in really good condition, so I feel that is all I need.

Oooo I made sure to drink plenty of water, I went for a couple of facials in the months before, always made sure to cleanse and moisturize religiously. Everything was perfect, flawless… and then the morning of I got a zit on my forehead 🙂 Yep, hadn’t had one in months and months and then that morning of course lol. No worries though, I had the airbrush foundation done so it covered it right up and you could never tell.

Oh no, the ZIT! I’m afraid of that happening to me. I never get pimples but I’m sure I’ll get a zinger the day before, lol.
