My center diamond in my engagement ring is my grandmother's from the 30s. My grandparents were married 65 years so I'll be happy to stick with tradition.

Your undies? HAHA, too funny :)

I haven't decided yet... it might be my mom's veil... and no, it hasn't discolored, because it's from her wedding this past June. ;) Is that old enough? Maybe I can just give it back to her later and it can be something borrowed!

It was my engagement ring, it came from my grandma and was over 50 years old.

I wore my grandmother's wedding set as my something old.

The undies are better old than borrowed, right?

Necklace charms I got from my late grandmothers - one from each of them.  I'll either sew it on to the dress or on the bouquet handle.

Oh, I should say that's for my Celebration with family and friends.  For the court ceremony, I wore a ring my mom gave me.

A necklace that belonged to my great-grandmother.  Most of the women in my family have worn it on their wedding day.

A vintage necklace from the Antique Walk in Walnut, IA and a pair of vintage earrings from my FI's stepmother's antique shop.

I guess the center diamond in my engagement ring would cound too (it was from my great-grandma's engagement ring in the 30's).  I never even thought about that...

My bouquet will have a locket that my Mom had when I was small. It has a picture of her my Dad and I. I will honor my Mom that has passed in many ways on my wedding but having her with me "symbolically" when I walk down the isle will be so nice.

I will attach a picture of the magazine clipping that inspired me, but I apologize for the quality (it was a tiny picture and I had to enlarge quite a bit).

The Tiffany ring my fiance gave me for Valentine's Day 4 years ago.  I almost never take it off anyway, like my e-ring.

Oh, and maybe my undies too.  Haven't seen any new ones I want to buy for the occasion, so they might be old merely by default.

My "something old" was a hankerchief that had belonged to my grandfather who passed away 4 years ago.  My mom gave it to me before the wedding, which was really sweet.  It reminded me of him and was a way to keep his memory close to my heart on the wedding day.

I wore my grandmother's wedding veil!  It was made by her mother from lace that her grandmother brought over when they moved here from Ireland!  I loved it and it was even more special because my grandparents (who have been married for 59 years now) were both able to be at my wedding :)

My fiance's grandmother has given me a lace handkerchief of hers that I will be using. I'll tuck it in somewhere or wrap it around my bouquet. I was so touched at the offer!

The mister and I have tattoos of each others initials in typewriter font, so my something old is an antique typewriter key with my new last name initial - P - and I had an etsy seller make it into a charm, which I will put on my bouquet.
