Commenting because I have no idea and I’d also like to see what other bees say!

This is my something old and blue.  It’s a small pin, that both of my children wore on their day of baptism.

My something old was my engagement ring as my stone is from 1860

 Something new was my dress

Something borrowed was my great aunts pearl and diamond necklace (qualifies as something old too)

Something blue was the bow on my garter and my “I do” stickers on my shoes

And I also had a Sixpence in my shoe which was from 1954 – the year my mother was born 🙂

Old The lace from my mother’s wedding dress that will be wrapped around the stems of my bouquet.

New My wedding dress.

Borrowed A crystal beaded silk headband one of my bridesmaids wore for her wedding.

Blue I haven’t decided, but I would like to have something more meaningful than a blue garter or a sticker on my shoe. My birthstone is sapphire.  Maybe I can convince my dad to buy me some earrings.

My old is going to be my rosary that I received for first communion when I was 6. It will be wrapped around my bouquet. My borrowed is going to be the veil from a friend. My new is my dress. And I don’t know what my blue is yet!

obviously im not wearing the knife- but I’m taking a new take on it and it

means so much to me (especially because his grandparents were so in love and had the most amazing marriage)

Old – my husband’s grandmother’s class ring. She passed away shortly before the wedding, and we missed her being there so much.

New – dress/veil/sash

Borrowed – my mom’s blingy brooch, pinned to my bouquet

Blue – cute panties, a gift from one of my best friends
