I can do it in three letters - USC.
He is alum and that is his thing - I love red so throw in some gold and there you have it. Even trying to get married on campus.
Other then that it will be very simple.
charming, sweet, whimsical, romantic, garden, natural, vintage, simple, personal, fun
10 words =)!
@futuremrsjohnson - wow! I hope you post pics on the gallery when the time comes! I'm a SC alum, too - I'd love to see what you guys come up with! What's your favorite place on campus? Or, rather, where would you guys want to get married on campus? In front of doheney? Or would that be too much like graduation? fight on!
Italian-isque
The FI and I met in Italy so we would love to incorporate someof those touches into the wedding.
rustic elegance, outdoors, fall, coral, chocolate, ivory, fun, casual
Southern, hospitable, bluegrass, colorful, nostalgic, traditional, quirky :)
My wedding motto: I am throwing a party. The theme is wedding. How is that?
Oooh, I like the word "hospitable"...I'm going to add that to mine.
Tiffany blue, chocolate brown, champagne and ivory
Elegant but still family-friendly, with little touches of the July 4th holiday (sparkler send-off from the church, and watching the city's firework display from the reception).
Vintage, fall, romantic, plum...and gorgeousity (a made up word, but it works).
@Futuremrsjohnson - Also an SC alum here! Please, please tell me your FH is trying to talk you into doing a fountain run in your wedding dress!
What a fun post! Here are mine:
whimsical, daisies, bright orange, deep purple, natural, simple, ivory, spring, friendly, casual
I started with wanting a theme of white, gold and jewelry (diamonds), but now I have so much up in the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I take lots of inspiration from Marie Antoinette. I love the rich, classy feel of navy (especially as my MOH's dress), I have always adored pink and I really like the way it looks paired with navy! White roses, hydrangeas, gardenias and peonies. I am not really into gold that much anymore, I might like a rose gold, or maybe platinum?
I'm highly confused, if you cannot tell. Lol.

Sweet! I am not too much of a fan of the word "theme" but I like using 10 words to describe it.
Ours will be: young, fresh, celadon, lemonade, rustic, fun, country (NOT western), romantic, and FUN!
Old South meets Old Hollywood..colors: cameo pink, black, and shimmery aqua.
Some interesting touches: I plan to use some favorite books and incorporate them into centerpieces from southern authors (preferably ones which have become movies or are iconic) and our families know 2!
I love reading everyone's descriptions!
Our "theme" is: Daisies, daisies, daisies, bicycles, daisies, grandma's-attic-vintage, and daisies.

I am a minimalist decorator. My furnishings by choice are very clean-lined and modern. HOWEVER, as I make more and more decisions regarding our wedding, I find myself drawn to a softer, more romantic vintagy look for our special day.
What is your theme in 10 words or less...
I'll go first: garden, lush, glow, early-1900s, crisp, nostalgic....aaaaaaaand I ran out of steam...but you can have up to ten words!!! Go for it!
