I see nothing wrong with it. Maybe if your church is very conservative you could wear a cover up during the ceremony.

It is not my style of dress but if you love it, rock it!

i think it’s fine. i would add a bolero or something because i don’t think it’s appropriate to have shoulders/back exposed in church, but that’s just me. if your church doesn’t have an issue with it, then you can skip the cover-up 🙂

It doesn’t look too “sexy” or anything though agree with pp on adding a bolero or shawl during church just in case.

I think the style is appropriate, but its not my style. Like pp said, if you love the dress, rock it!

I think the dress is fine just not what I would pick for you.

I think it’s fine for church. Just not what I’d choose for you. You’ve got a lovely body and those straps are visually taking away from that.

    I don’t think it’s inappropriate but I don’t love the embellishment.

@Wolfebeth:  I think it’s fine, though as others have said if your church is conservative I’d wear a shawl or something.

However, maybe try a mermaid style but in another dress. The bow-looking things all over the torso are cutting you off in weird places and coupled with the pickups at the bottom and the detailing in between, it’s just way too much.

I’d say it’s fine in most churches though I would personally prefer a little more cover. But I agree with PP’s that you have a lovely body and the embellishment on that dress isn’t doing much for you.

What are the specific rules of the church you are getting married at?

I would of course recommend finding out and observing the rules, but in the event that there aren’t any, I’m one of those people that sees nothing wrong with exposed shoulders etc in church. That dress looks fine to me.

Personally I would opt for something with more coverage for a church wedding. I also don’t think it’s a particularly good dress on you, appropriate or not.
