@Adalita:  Hopefully stick to my regular beauty routine..my face is a little sensitive, and if I change too many things I get random breakouts 🙁  2 weeks before the wedding would be a horrible time to get one.  I would like to get a facial..but not sure when to do it, because I don’t want to disrupt the balance of my skin too much..maybe 3-4 weeks out I’ll get a facial, and keep using my clarisonic brush!!

I’m doing whitestrips on my teeth (20 days).  Other than that, I’m sticking to my normal skincare routine.  Not sure if this counts, but I’m also growing in hair in various places in preparation for pre-wedding waxing!

Just Crest Whitestrips and a 1 month tanning membership for me. I know tanning is bad, but I only do it for special occasions (last time was college graduation, and the next time will be the wedding, 2.5 years later!)

I’m curious to try the trial thing of Proactive or something like it. I’ve heard that it works great for the first month or so, and then most people’s skin returns to normal breakouts. If I can time it right, it’d be nice to have a clear face for the big day. I don’t have bad acne, but I do have one or two spots at any given time and it’s annoying.

Also maybe I’ll treat myself to a deep hair conditioning… Hmm. I have lots of time to prepare, but I guess I do have a lot to consider.

@aggie2010:  Proactiv is AMAZING!! MY skin went crazy dry for the first 2 weeks (like properly flaking off,so don’t use just before your wedding!) and most people give up with it at this stage. But i perservered and BAM, right on the 3 week mark, my skin was flawless. It literally has been a life saver for me. I now use it a couple of times a week to maintain but other than that my skin has stayed near perfect. I used to have very bad skin, and now people comment on how flawless it is, which as someone who has had bad skin, is something you never thought you’d ever hear anyone say!

All I’d say is try the trial and push past the dry skin phase and see what happens. it may be that it’s not right for you but it’s worth a try. The only other thing I’d say is that it bleaches EVREYTHING it comes into contact with-towels, bedding etc…. so buy white towels and bed sheets and don’t get it on your clothes!

Good Luck!

I will be getting my hair touched up, getting my nails done, eyelash extensions, and a wax. I will also be practicing my hairstyle a lot, since I am doing my own hair.

Right now I don’t highlight my hair or dye it but I am thinking about lightning it up.. (It’s currently dirty blonde) So if I do that in the next few weeks, I will definitely be touching up between now and then as well as a week or two before the wedding. I used to highlight my hair about 6 years ago and I loveeed it but had to stop because I didn’t have the money. Now that I do have the money I think I’d like to start again.

I’m going to get a mani/pedi 2 weeks before the wedding and then another one 1-2 days before

White strips!

Working out everyday towards the end, sometime two-a-days. (Mostly lifting weights because I really want toned arms & butt)

Laying out more frequently

Couples massage 1-2 weeks before the big day as well as a facial and full body scrub for me.

Waxing 4-5 days before.
