I try to follow a paleo way of eating - I did it for the wedding and continue to. It's pretty much cutting out processed foods, staying away from flour, sugar - and trying to get lean protein, veggies, good fats in every meal.
It's super easy because you cut out all the extra stuff and just focus on getting veggies and protein into your diet... it took some planning in the beginning, but now is second nature. It helps if you enjoy cooking :)
Here's a site: www.everydaypaleo.com that has great recipes and tips.
lost 10 pounds in 4 months by running on treadmill for 30 mintues 3 times a week and cut down on fatty foods. Plus drink lots of water.

DH and i have both packed on some pounds, or "happiness" as i like to call it, since the wedding. I'm oh so ready to drop the pounds and hopefully a little more on top of that. I would especially like to get in tip top shape right now because we are planning on starting to TTC during the next year. I know being a healthy weight helps with conception, but I also feel like it would pregnancy and getting back in shape post baby easier. make
I'm working out more and trying to make healthier choices at the dinner table. I'm curious, what diets/books/general lifestyle changes are other bees following to drop the extra pounds?
