Ladies and more ladies, aside from renting the tuxes and assembling the centerpieces, I am fairly certain I am DONE wedding planning.
I may have been to efficient for my own good.
Not much to add here. Is anyone else here done and twiddling their thumbs waiting (im)patiently for the next 7 months to hurry up and go by?
This could be dangerous. As I have stated in other posts, I am where DIY projects come to die. A black hole of crafts, if you will. But with 7 months, I’m going to start getting antsy and CRAFTS will happen. Someone keep me in check and make sure I don’t go buying gluesticks or glitter!

@MrsFutureG: please craft. you should make it your mission to craft all the crafts. with all the glues and glitters you can muster.
Do it for you. do it for me. do it for every girl who wanted to craft but didn’t have the time! *the team cheers and runs out of the locker room*

@MrsFutureG: I’m pretty much done as well. I’ve noticed that because I have so much time left, I’m starting to obsess over little things. And my new obsession is a videographer and it’s so frustrating because everyone is already booked! And my Fiance doesn’t think we need one, but I reall really want one so this is causing me stress. I wish the wedding would just be here already so I can stop obsessing over it! Haha

Congrats! I wish I were where you are now. Wedding planning really isn’t my forte. Don’t let the last few things stretch out to fill all the time between now and day-of… there’s a lot else you can do with that 7 months, and practically none of life needs to be on hold until after the wedding date!

@tangentialbee: Haha, nice! Trust me, me and a glue gun doesn’t equal beautiful things. Me and a glue gun equals my hair glued to my hand and somehow superglue was the gluestick. I can’t draw a straight line with a ruler!
I designed our invitations (though I paid someone to print and assemble them). I’m good with a computer and photoshop so I designed a lot of things on there, but when it comes to using my hands, you do NOT want that. If I pick up crafts, I’ll be in the news the next day. “Woman drowns in 5lb tub of glitter. Clearly self-inflicted.”
@joya_aspera: To be fair, I come from a family of party planners. I grew up in this and I discovered that it apparently comes naturally to me. I know that I lucked out with this skillset!

@tangentialbee: I love you.
@IzzyBear: We were having the same videographer stress-out, but then we decided to go with WeddingMix. Just booked it today. Excited to see what we get!

@tangentialbee: This post seriously made me so happy. So happy.
Opposite problem here. Those really cute DIY save the dates I made? Going in the closet because it’s almost time to send out invitations!

@MrsFutureG: well I’d hate to sentence you to death by glitter! And especially not before your wedding…I suppose i will take the crafting hopes and dreams of the bee nation off of your shoulders.

Wow! You are efficient!
Have fun with the crafting! Remember though, glitter is the herpes of the craft world. Don’t get anywhere near that stuff!
