Just curious as to when all the November brides are sending out their invites.

I really have no idea when I will be sending ours out. A really good chunk of our guests are from different states but I have sent them all save the dates.

We're planning on mid-August (2 1/2 months before).  This is because we want to ensure that guests have enough time to book rooms at the hotel before our block of room disappears and they can't get the discounted rate. So, we are putting our RSVP date at a month before the wedding.  We also sent STDs out.

However, I think 1.5 - 2 months before is plenty of time and some what standard.

Yes, if you sent out Save the Dates, your invitations should be sent 6 to 8 weeks prior to your wedding day.

We just ordered our invitations last night!  Should be here by 6/4!  MIL is awesome at caligraphy, and since she will be off for the summer (teacher), she is very excited to address all of them by hand.  I am planning on sending out by 2nd week of August, but I have a lot of out of state and international guests.  We sent out save the dates in February.  Wedding date is 11/5

August 20th - we are the weekend before Thanksgiving so it give people a little more time than usual to plan around that...

Yours being the beginning of November I think you would be fine 2 months in advance although theknot.com recommends 3 months...

My wedding is October 20th and I dropped my invites off at the post office yesterday.

I sent ours out last Friday and I've already gotten a few responses back. I know its a little earlier than the norm but my sister had such a hard time getting back RSVPs (she had to call almost half her list), I decided to do it a little early to give us some time to make those calls.

Oh boy. You bees are making me nervous. I haven't even picked our invites out yet let alone mail them out. Our wedding is the day after thanksgiving, but we sent out save the dates around the start of May. So hopefully we'll be ok.
