I am sending out my invite the first week of October and my RSVP is November 8th. We are doing the food ourselves so I want plently of time to figure things out. I am doing it so early because it is the Saturday before Christmas and half the guest list lives 2.5 hours away.

Since my daughter’s date (Dec 20) is so close to Christmas and most of the guests are out of town, we had planned to mail invitations the Tuesday after Labor Day.  We are printing and assembling them at home using a combination of invitation kits from Joann’s, pockets from Cards & Pockets, snowflake seals from yet another source, etc.  This weekend was supposed to be “invitation central” but my mother broke a hip last weekend, so we’ve had to postpone til things settle down.  Our RSVP date will be Nov. 20th, so that we have a week to track stragglers before our caterer’s deadline for a final count three weeks prior to the event.  (Does that seem early to anyone besides me?  She says because of the holidays they have so many holiday events and have to schedule their kitchen and serving staff well in advance.) Good luck to all the December Bees – it’s fun to see how everyone is coming along!

The remainder will be sent out at the 3 month mark & rsvp the end of november. It’s getting close!

My wedding is December 14th and we will be putting the invites in the mail on September 30th (so that people receive them the first week of October.) Our RSVP date is November 8th – giving us plently of time. …I don’t do last minute lol

Our weddins is December 7th and I think I will mail them next week (week of 9/16).  RSVP Date is 10/25 which is a bit early but it’s a semi-destination wedding and everyone has to travel a minimum of 2 hours to get there.

Since travel will be involved for our wedding, I sent my invitations yesterday.

I have to say, I did feel a slight pang of panic when I dropped them in the mail slot!

All these date twins Cool

Anyway, I am going to send my invites next week and the RSVP date is 11 November. Although I think I’ll send my overseas invites at the end of this week to give people extra time to respond.
