I *love* bluegrass. With all of my family being from Tennessee and West Virginia, I think it was in my blood. I’ve never been to Merlefest, but I would be soooo excited.

@juhneenee:

LOVE bluegrass. My favorite new discovery is the band The Carolina Chocolate Drops.  Fantastic live performers.  Never been to Merlefest, but it sounds like a blast. πŸ™‚

P.S. The post title made me LOL. πŸ˜€

@mightywombat: YES. saw them live last year. They’re amazing, and they have such a great repertoire of old timey songs.

@MsJeep23:

Yay! So glad I’m not alone in my love for them. I’ve also had Crooked Still on repeat for the last couple of weeks.

@juhneenee: Me too! It was so funny when they came here, describing the way that song is received in different spots in the U.S….apparently up north it’s “crickets” but down South it’s all “YAY!! CORNBREAD!!!!” LOL
