@keepsmiling19: I think you can do the bubbles and the ribbon and monogram way ahead of time. As for the cookies, I think those you might want to do them closer to your wedding.

For the first two I think you could do those any time that you wanted so long as you have a safe place to store them. If you do those two early that leaves you with more time to worry about the cookies without the extra stress from DIY overload.

How many cookies do you plan on making? I would suggest on making batches of dough and freezing them about a week ahead of your wedding. Then get your BM’s together to have a baking party. If you know anybody with a double oven set-up in their kitchen that would be ideal. The cookies can probably be made 2-3 days ahead of time.

My grandma used to freeze dough and then my cousins and I would help make the dough into a few hundred cookies in one day. The next day we would decorate the cookies. It worked like a charm. She had two ovens though so you may need to add an extra day.

Don’t forget that depending on the type of cookies you make you could always start some a little earlier in the week and freeze them.

Cake can be done a little ahead of time too since you can freeze it. If you do those you could start them the week before I believe. We’re planning on doing cupcakes in a jar for our wedding and I think I’m going to try to bake them a little earlier in the week and freeze them to keep them nice and fresh.

Oh and snickerdoodles are delicious! My friend makes those things all the time and they hold up really well even after freezing them. She used to make them when she came home from her university and then froze them for the week so that she could hand them out to people at her dorm.

I went to a wedding were they had bubbles and the bubbles evaporated in my car. So be careful where you store them. you can make bubbles with h20 and dish soap, we used to when we were little.
