Hmph. Well. We usually have a little nibble of Dark Chocolate. I know it's not totally healthy, but we're vegans so we have a pretty healthy diet as is.

Fresh grapes (I like to wash them and put them in tupperware so they're not so much "work" to get out) or fruit pulls, usually strawberry.

When I'm really craving something bad, I'll let myself have something small, like a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

If it's at night, I'll brush my teeth earlier. The toothpaste tends to knock out the sugar receptors on my tongue. :P

I keep a bag of the mini baking chocolate chips - it's perfect just to have a couple, kills that craving.

Also tofutti cuties... if you haven't tried them, you must. They're amazing.

    Some of my favorites:

    - Raspberries and two small scoops of Edy's Slow Churned vanilla ice cream (the ice cream is 100 cals for a whol 1/2 cup!_

    - lemon ice (maybe not healthy since it's sugar water, but low in calories)

    - frozen fruit

    - carmel apples (Walden Farms makes a 0 calorie carmel dip that tastes good on apples and unfortunately only on apples)

Peppermint gum kills it!  But we normally have something small, whatever it is we want.

I'm trying to do better, eating healthier and making better decisions about what I shove in my face! When I want sweets, I grab a big glass of low sugar hot cocoa. It's warm and filling, and I get my chocolate fix! I don't feel guilty about doing that at all!

I keep grain sweetened chocolate chips around and I make sugar free ice cream with erythritol and stevia. We also make baked apples with cinnamon and stevia, or strwaberry sorbet: put strawberries in the blender with a little lemon juice and a few drops of stevia and puree. Then put it in the freezer for a couple of hours. I've also made cookies replacing half the flour with almond flour and using erythritol.

My issues is how to keep myself out of the tortilla chips. If they are in the house, they are calling my name!

I try to go with a smaller version of what I actually want -- e.g. a frozen mini York Peppermint Patty or a Skinny Cow ice cream bar.  I've found that if I deny myself, I begin to fixate, and then eat like, a whole bag of Halloween candy! :p

diet coke usually kills my sweets craving.  Some other alternatives I like are

    60 cal pudding cups

    weight watchers popcicles

    100 calorie kudos bar

    fruit

Yogurt usually does it for me.  Raspberry cheesecake from Yoplait is my fav!

I usually tend to go for the unhealthy things though.  Oops.

I go for any sort of fruit - the natural sugar in it takes away the craving!  (That is, if chocolate doesn't fall into my mouth before then!!)

I'm bad, when I crave sweets I eat sweets!  Shoot, right now I'm contemplating whether I was some cake or pie that's in the fridge, or some oreos from the cupboard, lol.

Not exactly "healthy" but Diet Dr. cherry Pepper, sugar free jello, or one of those 100 calorie packs of white choch dizzle rice cakes :-)

I eat fruit like apples and strawberries and mangoes (when in season) a cup of tea also does the trick.
