We are hoping to find out right before Christmas when I am just shy of 20 weeks . . . and we would tell our families then. So, around 4.5 months.

We decided to wait. If we had found out the gender, we would’ve announced immediately. I don’t know that I’d be able to keep that secret, especially with family wanting to buy things.

We kind of found out at an ultrasound we had at 14W3D, but still wait to wait until our anatomy scan at 20 weeks.  We’ll announce it to everyone shortly after that!

We told people when we found out at 20 weeks. I never really did an official announcement though but our families and closest friends know.

When DH and I have kids, I would really like to wait and do a reveal at a baby shower (so we’ll know from 20 weeks but others won’t find out until the shower).  But I don’t think DH will go for it.

We told everyone as soon as we found out. Our first baby was a girl and I was so excited, I couldn’t keep it in. Baby number two was a boy and that was just so perfect, FH was over the moon about having a son so there was no way we could have kept that a secret!

We didn’t tell our midwives though, they wanted to be surprised, which was really fun.

We found out at 20 weeks too, and though we didn’t make an official announcement to anyone besides our parents & siblings, both our moms blabbered the news.

I found out at 16 weeks and immediately told everyone. I held the pregnancy announcement for a looooong time so I figured I didn’t eally need to wait on the gender announcement lol

We are planning on finding out when we have our 20 week ultrasound, which will be just before Christmas, so since we’ll be getting together with the whole family we’re planning on announcing it then. I’ve seen two super cute ideas, trying to decide which one to use…I’m typically in charge of dessert, so I might dye the inside of the cake blue or pink, frost it white, and let our parents cut it. Or another cute idea was since obviously there willbe presents, to put pink or blue helium-filled balloons in a wrapped box so when it is opened the balloons will fly up!

We find out on October 16, our 2 year Anniversary. We are having a Gender Reveal/House Warming Party on the 20th. That would put me at 19 weeks.
