When did everybody end up booking the honeymoon? We are 10 months out but not sure if we should book now or not. I think we were offered a pretty good deal on Tahiti but always worry that if we wait, we might find something better/cheaper! But then the airfare might go up, right?

We booked in March (about 9 months out), but we began looking after we got engaged.
ETA: Also, when I checked online a few months later, the resort we selected was a few hundred dollars more. Plus, fights went up a little.

We booked about 6 months out after we decided where we wanted to go.

We’re at 5 months and not booked yet, but I’m not that worried. As long as we book by about 2 months out I’ll be ok.

We’re going the unconventional route of booking last minute to get a great deal! We don’t care where we go as long as it’s warm 🙂 We’ll probably book about 3 weeks out.

We booked 10 months out, but we knew pretty much as soon as we got engaged where we wanted to go (Great Barrier Reef) so we spent a month researching the best airfare deals and hotels and then did it. I’m glad we did too! We got a total steal on our airfare as it just went up and up from there.

@OttawaBride2011: i’m considering doing the same thing! I figure there has to be SOMEWHERE with a good deal leading up to the wedding 🙂

We already booked ours! But it was a gift from FH’s uncle and he wanted to make sure we got like, first pick of staterooms on the cruise we selected, haha. His uncle actually went on different message boards to figure out PRECISELY which rooms had the best reviews. I don’t think our flights are booked yet, but Future Uncle is covering those too!
