I would book as soon as possible.
I am the odd one and booked out honeymoon as soon as we picked out date. I knew I wanted to go to Fiji well before we got engaged.
We booked in October for our June honeymoon. Probably a little early, but we wanted to get it out of the way.
I booked in late April for our honeymoon to Jamaica next November. We went ahead and booked the flights as well because I didn't want to risk losing the flight I wanted.
I'll book ASAP. We booked ours 10 months out! It was one of the easiest wedding decisions we made!
We STILL haven't booked our honey moon--and yes, we are planning on going right after our wedding. So we're a little more than 4 months away and nothing is booked. My FI is in charge of the honeymoon, which explains the procrastination, lol. It's definitely stressing me out that we don't have a plan, or even know where we're going yet.
we booked in january for an august honeymoon. i think you'll still be fine but i'd book it soon.
We're going to Japan right after the wedding - we talked to a travel agent in November to book the flight and hotel rooms (we ended up doing the flights ourselves and saving about $500), then we had to wait until the end of April to book the train passes (they expire 60 days after you buy them). Now that FI has graduated, he's been spending most of his time planning out the actual adventures we hope to have.
We were terrible but we booked it on friday, right before our rehearsal dinner, and flew out Monday to Jamaica to this really cute private cottage. We'd been indecisive but it all worked out.
Oh man! I havn't booked mine and mine is in August! We are planning on doing it next week though!
@ JennyChicago - glad I'm not alone :) Where are you guys honeymooning?
I think we're the exception - we booked on a Monday to fly out on Thursday...
Just got back yesterday - it was fabulous. I think if you know what you want to do it's best to book it ASAP - we didn't have a definite idea so we winged it.

We're five months away from our wedding and we haven't booked anything yet. This is mainly due to my procrastination and I just had a major surgery two weeks ago, so trip-planning hasn't been a priority. How far in advance did you ladies book your honeymoon? We're going to Asia. Should I book now? Thanks hive!
