I have my first prenatal apt Feb 29th and I'm not sure if they are going to do an US or not. When did you get your first US?

I had mine at my first prenatal appointment. I think it just depends on your doctor though, mine does a U/S at every appointment.

I got mine at 8 weeks to the day, at our first prenatal appointment. I don't think they were planning on giving us an ultrasound that day, though, but after we told them about our miscarriage in September the OB RN found an ultrasound tech who could fit us in that afternoon.

I had one at 7weeks4days but thats because I was having bleeding, but then I had one at 9weeks4days because that was my first "official" appointment and my Dr. always does one at the first appointment. I think it depends on your Dr. because I know several people who only got one at 20 weeks. Hopefully you get yours!

I am thinking this is a trend of OBs in NYC! My SIL gets one at every appointment as well as do all her friends. So of course my mom bugs me every time why I don't get one. Because mom, if the OB doesn't order it insurance won't cover it!
