I was wondering when you just knew or felt you were pregnant? DH and I have been TTC for 6 cycles and my sister says “you’ll just know”.. well how am I supposed to know if I’ve never been pregnant? I’m 6DPO now and going all sorts of crazy with symptom spotting! So, I ask you, when did you just know?

I felt like I was pregnant pretty quickly. I took a few tests, got negative results and was really disappointed… But in the back of my head, a little voice was like, “I’m pretty sure you’re pregnant, though!” And it was right.

I did the same thing. I spotted every symptom and had myself convinced each month only to find out i wasn’t. But i honetly didn’t feel pregnant when i actually was, and currently at 13w i still don’t feel pregnant. I’m sure it’s different for everyone. Best advice, wait until you miss your period to test. Good Luck 🙂

@octoberbaby: I had a nagging suspicion about a week before my missed period. I had gotten dizzy, which typically isn’t a strong indication, and especially not for me since I was just treated for a vitamin D deficinecy. I took a blue dye test two days later and got a negative. Something still felt “off” though. I didn’t really start to have true symptoms until after my missed period, but something just felt weird. I tested 2 days after that BFN with a a first response, and I got a very clear positive 🙂

I didn’t know until I got my BFP at 13DPO. I had some pulling at 6 DPO that in hindsight was probably implantation cramping, but I had so many AF-like symptoms that I almost didn’t test the morning I got my BFP.
Some women do “just know”…I wasn’t one of them.

Ah! It’s interesting to see, I guess everyone really is different. So far my weirdest symptom is that my groin is sore, as if I worked out but I didn’t.. not sure what that’s about! Fingers and toes crossed!

Ok, everyone who knew me on the December POAS board will laugh out loud hearing this from me.
I got my BFP at 14DPO. I waited until then to test. I kept proclaiming to everyone that there’s NO way I’d be pregnant, and I was SURE that I wasn’t.
I was telling myself (and others) that, because I wanted to protect myself from disappointment.
However…inside, I deeply felt that I would not be getting my period. I was so exhausted every day (unusually so) and I had some really strong feelings during our fertile window that something had happened.
I know that may sound silly to some, but looking back…I was not listening to my intuition. I refused to hope that my body was giving me signs.

I took a test at 13DPO and only tested then because AF had usually shown up by then. I never had a feeling I was pregnant.

I chose 9 – 12 DPO in the poll, but I was having strong suspicions as early as 6 DPO. I kind of wrote it off as normal symptom-spotting madness. Around 9DPO I reaaally started to think something was up. I was SO hungry, gassy, and sleepy, and I felt a weird pressure-like feeling in my abdomen. Got my strong BFP the next day at 10DPO!

@octoberbaby: I knew (obviously not for sure, but I kept making comments to DH that if I wasn’t pregnant, something weird was going on with me) a 5-6 days before my missed period. I didn’t test until the day AF was due.

I had crazy exhaustion about 7-10 DPO. Way more tired than usual. Around the same time I started getting a lot of pinching and little crampy feelings around my stomach. I also had a lovely body acne break out and headaches early on. I had a feeling it was possible, but I wouldn’t say ‘I Knew’ I was pregnant. I felt like something was different, and it was!!
ETA: I forgot the most telling one!! My boobs felt really heavy and full. Not necessarily larger, but much fuller. I even told DH and he was like ‘nah, they’re always big!’ But I was suspicious!!

I actually didn’t find out until 6 weeks (so 4 weeks DPO), and that was only because I took a random test. I tested 14 DPO, it was negative, then I had a light period, so I figured I was out. Two weeks later, on a whim, I took another test, and imagine my surprise! It was great though, because we could see something on ultrasound right away, instead of having to wait weeks to confirm things.

I got a very faint positive on 11dpo, nothing before that. In retrospect, the only symptom I had was being bloated. My boobs hurt too, but they always did at that stage of my cycle.

I didn’t feel pregnant until after 8 weeks, with the exception of a few odd days.

In hindsight, I should have known around day 7DPO. I remember coming back from a work meeting SO exausted, like more tired than I have ever been in my life. That night I went home and just laid there, which is so unlike me. That tired feeling went away, but has now come back almost everyday since about week 6. I had no real symptoms until about 5-6 weeks when my boobs got bigger and I started to feel queasy.
