So for the past four weeks I have been sick day and night (I wish it was just in the morning). While I hated being sick, I know it was a good thing and a sign that everything was well with the baby. Well starting this week, as of Monday, I have not been sick. I have even been crazing certain foods and have been able to take the dogs for a walk after work. I am only 8w 4d and I keep reading that m/s is usllay worst during this time, and while I’m happy that mine is getting better, I can’t help but be a little worried.
When did your m/s stop? Should I be worried at the sudden halt in m/s?

Sometimes it can come and go. Mine got better around 8-9 weeks and then by 10 weeks it came back and I still have it at 11.5 weeks now. Or yours could just be gone for good. Some women only have it a few weeks and some don’t have it at all. Lucky ducks!

You and i are exactly the same day, and I’m also concerned!! I think I had morning sickness weeks 5-7 (just mild queasiness, but no dry heaving, vomiting, etc), but I figured out that I was taking my prenatal too soon after eating so it was essentially on an empty stomach which caused the nausea. I started taking them well after I ate a meal (about an hour), and I’ve had NO nausea. I know I should be feeling lucky, but it worries me that it essentially disappeared. My boobs are a lot less sore too. A few of my friends who have had kids have said it just comes and goes…3 days you’ll feel great, 3 days you’ll feel like crap, repeat throughout the first trimester. Let’s just hope we’re the lucky ones.

Mine stopped around 14 weeks, but I did have a few days in between that time frame where I felt pretty good and I was also worried. I think we tend to panic at every little thing throughout the whole pregnancy, cuz now that I am 17 weeks and the morning sickness is completely gone, I still worry all the time! I think you would know if something was wrong and not to panic. Did you ever think you would be hoping for morning sickness? lol

12-13 weeks. It pretty much stopped right at the beginning of my second trimester. Weird/strong smells still make me sick occasionally.

@Jenn23- I am looking over my shoulder waiting for it to come back lol.
@lotam240- Yay for October babies! I think I might be feeling better too because I figure out the tricks to stop myself from throwing up. Such as eating an hour before I am supposed to get up and then going back to sleep so I don’t wake up on an empty stomach.
@hotdiggitydog- Every night I’ve been in tears because I’m so sick. You are right, I never though I’d be hoping for morning sickness 😉
I had a dream the other night that I was bleeding and lost the baby. I know it was just a dream and I wasn’t bleeding in real like, but it felt very real and started to get me nervous. But last night in my dream I was still pregnant but I still hadn’t packed and left my baby at the hospital after I delivered to go home and pack a bag and then because I left my child there, they wouldn’t let me Boyfriend or Best Friend and then I took my baby home and he still didn’t have a name. Hahaha, so it’s safe to say my dreams can’t mean too much.

Mine hasn’t stopped yet! I’m 16.5 weeks. It’s definitely slowing down but I still need my anti-nausea meds to get me through the day/night!

It got a lot better around 14-16 weeks. Yesterday, I got weirdly nauseous after eating and stayed that way most of the day, so it does come and go. Also, the past few days, my boobs have been sore again, possibly growing, but definitely a tad sorer than usual. I’m 18 weeks today.

Mine has gotten a little better this week actually and according to my U/S yesterday I’m around 10 weeks. I’m still throwing up in the morning but I don’t feel nauseous before really and it just kind of comes out of nowhere when I’ve been up for about an hour if I haven’t eaten anything.

I got sick until week 17 all day, however, within that time, there were 3 times where I didn’t get sick for 3 days, and then it came back. I still am getting sick now off and on at 28 weeks.

Mine started to improve around 12 weeks. First the all day and evening queasiness and vomiting subsided and gradually the morning has been getting better too. I’m now 15 weeks and only dry heaved the past couple mornings and haven’t thrown up for about a week. For me a lot has to do with how tired I am – so if I get a good night sleep then I’m usually fine all day.

I felt sick from 8 weeks to about 12 weeks. Then, it was smooth sailing from then on! Hope it will be the same for you! 🙂

Mine slowly got better between weeks 16 and 20, but it never went away. I’m full term and still get nauseous every morning and every night. I’d say, count yourself lucky.

For me nausea faded away completely by week 16. But I was never really throwing up, Just very nauseaous all the time.

@roxy821: Sorry to say it but: it’ll come back. Don’t you worry. I am very sick all the time and then BOOM, i’ll get a break one day (like today!) and then the next day it’ll be back full fledged. I even went a week feeling great once…….I freaked out and then it came back. Yay:(
