Just curious, when did most of you start to get morning or anytime sickness? How many of you did not get sick at all? Thanks!

@cannotwait: Just out of curiousity when you say 5-6 weeks do you mean past your last period or the approximate date you conceived? I never know which is more common to use when discussing your pregnancy. Thanks!

@HappilyEverAfter54: So did you consider that four weeks or six weeks? When you first started getting it?

I started having waves of nausea in my TWW... I am now 7wks (almost 8) from my last period and still having some serious waves.... haven't thrown up yet but have had a couple times where I for sure thought I was going to.

Generally pregnancy weeks are Conception + 2 weeks or from the 1st day of your last period... since most don't know their "conception date" the 2 weeks are just kind automatically added I guess =)

At about 6.5/7 weeks I started actually vomitting.  The nausea kicked in at 6 weeks on the nose though.  And I was so cocky my 4th and 5th weeks - i felt awesome and though maybe I'd skip the nausea/morning sickness.  Nope!

I'm 7 weeks from my LMP and I felt really neuseas for the first time today. It only.lasted like 10 minutes though, lol, so i guess we'll see if I end up getting hardcore MS soon...

I have a friend who never had MS - she loved every minute of pregnancy. Lucky duck!

Not until about 7-8 weeks and it was just constant nausea. I WISH I could have thrown up.  Probably would have made me feel better.  I tried those wrist pressure point cuffs and they didn't do a damn thing.

It was terrible, constant, all day long, seasickness that just never ended. But it only lasted until about 12 weeks, never to return, thank goodness.  But trust me, it's a good sign, it means your hormones are kicking in as they are supposed to.

Oh, and i made the mistake of walking into a Tony Roma's rib place during that time and I still can't stomach (pardon the pun) ribs to this day.  Shame, really:)

All day nausea started pretty early, around week 6. I didn't actually throw up until 11.5 wks, and then I threw up once a week until 16 wks. I couldn't predict what day I'd throw up or what would set it off, but it always passed by 11:00am-- it was truly morning sickness for me. The nausea went away around 17 wks.

@PutABirdOnIt: I hope you aren't implying its a BAD sign if you don't get MS, plenty of women don't get MS, that doesn't mean their bodies aren't doing what they're supposed to do! It just means they're reacting differently to the hormones their body is producing!

my first I was sick 3 months straight.......i couldn't keep anything down and vomited about 10x a day - but that's not the "norm". with my second i started feeling sick about 9 weeks but it was more feeling sick than throwing up and lasted til about 15 weeks.....with my third i started feeling sick about 6 weeks along and lasted til about 13 weeks, vomited about 10x thru those weeks, but felt sick every minute....every pregnancy is different! It sucks at the time, but its soooooo worth it :)

    Congrats :)

As I can recall that I was morningsick from week 14 or something to like week 19 or 20, after that I never had it again. Horrible. My sons dad couldn't even hug me or be close without me running to the toilet, I think it was his "smellW, it triggered my morning sickness, as well as fried salmon (one of my favourite dishes).. and I had cravings for rhubarb and lemons the whole pregnancy through, and I hated meat! I became a vegetarian for like 3 months on and off.. Bleh! Morning sickness and weird cravings are not fun :S

@MacFaniam24: I started about halfway through week 6 (from LMP), and it's lasted up until now - I'm 12w 1d, and it's kind of tapering, but still there. I actually threw up every day, multiple times, and some days I was sick in bed all day.

I'm 40 weeks, 4 days, and I haven't thrown up once. I had a little bit of nausea come and go, but never where I couldn't eat. Mostly if I got too hungry, I'd feel a little sick, then I'd eat and it would go away. But the rest hasn't been sunshine and daisies. I've had near daily nosebleeds, crazy heartburn, and chronic fatigue. Though I'm still thanking my lucky stars I didn't get morning sickness. I hate puking!
