16 Weeks and 2 days...one day the belly wasn't there and the next it was. At about 14 weeks I started getting really big after eating but it didn't become permanent until 16 weeks.
Its so much nicer than just looking chunky!
I also had the horrible nausea and fatigue on my 1st trimester. I started showing around 18 to 20 weeks.
I "popped" at about week 18. That's when I could really look at myself and say, "Hey, there's a baby in there!" Before that, I thought I just looked like my regular self with a bit of a beer belly.
I usually notice that friends "pop" right around the 20th week. Up until then, I feel that any slight belly is hidden by clothing.
I popped around 16 weeks, but it was still really easy to hide. I feel like only now at 26 weeks am I noticeably pregnant to the outside world.
23 weeks. I really hated comments about my lack of showing, and I was glad to finally get a bump. Now she's getting huge!
Oh my gosh, I first, I thought people had voted for "Before week 1" not 12... haha, oops
24 weeks for me, but we had lots of weight issues in the first trimester, so I was probably on the delayed side of things. I was getting really frustrated, but now lo and behold, there's a real 2 lb baby in there!
Also, if it's a subsequent pregnancy you can appear pregnant earlier. Just ask my sister! She looked pregnant much earlier than w/her first. At about 4 mos vs. her looking preggers at 5 mos with her first.
I just had my daughter in August and I didn't look preggers until about 32 weeks then I popped- even at 40 weeks I was still small. I never wore maternity clothes, just buy extra long sizes like at target and other stores. its cheaper
DG I swear we are like...pregnancy twins or something. I had weight issues at first too, but now...she's here for ALL to see!
I started not fitting into my pre-pregnancy clothes after 7 weeks but I guess I started to look pregnant and not overweight probably around week 15. My boobs however grew noticeably bigger just before 10 weeks. Now at 22 weeks, there is no way to hide it.
There's a really awkward phase you go through where you look fat, not pregnant. My hips are incredibly wide, so I was in that stage for WAY too long, LOL! Even though my boobs got bigger, I just didn't have a bump that anyone could look at me and think "Aw, she's expecting!" Now that I have the bump I'm ALWAYS walking around with my hand on it, so it's more obvious. (Does anyone else do this?? I didn't realize I was until DH mentioned it. Totally subconcious!)
@MightySapphire - I am SO guilty of putting my hands on my baby bump. I find myself rubbing it a lot especially if I am walking around.
Last weekend, I was doing just that while we were grocery shopping and then a VERY pregnant woman came around the corner doing the same thing. I felt very weird as my bump wasn't even half of hers, lol. So I stopped touching the belly.
I haven't been touching my belly. I don't know why. Many of my co-workers do, but I feel so awkward drawing more attention to the bump that's starting to form there. I think part of it is that it would seem weird when there was nothing there! So I never really started doing it.
I also don't want to do anything to encourage anyone else to touch me! There's already enough of that going on without me encouraging it!
Lol, DG, I touch my belly practically all day in an effort to keep other people's hands off of it! If my hands are already there, there's no room for random co-workers' hands. :)

So I felt pregnant by week 5 or 6 - the lovely nausea, insomnia and fatigue. However at 14 weeks I still don't look pregnant (well except for my boobs getting bigger!).
Question - when did you actually notice a difference in the mirror? I know "showing" probably means that the outside world can tell, but I am curious when YOU could see a pregnant belly....??? I had no idea it took so long!
