Awh how cute, My son always had a little bit of hair, but those cute baby curls started coming in around a year old I think.

@Twiglets:  I was born bald with just a tiny bit of peach fuzz on my head and this is what I looked like when I was 3 years old. That’s me with my baby sister. Needless to say my long hair took a while to come in, lol!

@Twiglets:  My son was born with TONS of black hair– which shed quickly.  He started sprouting again around the 4-6 month mark, and it didn’t grow fast at first….he had hair but it was nothing special at his 1 year bday if I remember correctly.  It came in quite nice after that!

I was over a year old when I finally grew some hair… my mom had started to get pretty concerned! If it bothers you that much, maybe you could put a little headband on her head with a bow on it?

My kiddo was born with a full head of hair, but her cousin was bald as bald gets and is now FINALLY starting to get some real hair on her head. Still not long enough to do anything with, but at least it’s coming in. She’s 16 months.

@quierajen:  That looks exactly like my hair when I was three!  I was also born bald and it took forevery and a day for my hair to come in.  To the OP, it has no bearing on the type of hair your baby will have because mine has been long and thick ever since 😉

I was born bald and I was pretty much a cue-ball short of some brown peach fuzz until at least 2 years old. My twin brother on the other hand had a gorgeous set of blonde curls from day 1. Guess who everyone thought the girl was…..

P.S. – We’re now in our early 30s and he’s starting to loose his hair. Karma’s a bitch 🙂

@Twiglets:  Oh my gosh, adorable! I don’t have a baby, but do I remember my brother being born completely bald and staying that way until he was maybe 18 months. And by that time it was only some peach fuzz for about 6 months. I was born with a full head of hair, haha.

One of my friends has a bald baby who just turned 1 and she’s starting to get some hair now, so maybe around the one year mark you’ll hopefully see some improvement!

Also, I think it’s harder to see the hair growth on babies who are blonde or red heads.

BabyDane is a bald little cue ball too.  No idea when her hair will come in :/  She’s almost 10 months old.
