I'm curious to watch this thread- mine's shallow too at 27 weeks but definitely still very much an innie. Curious what others will say!
I'm going to watch this thread as well, I'm also about 27 weeks and still no popping ;)
Mine came close but never did. There was another thread about this a few months ago. I think a few people popped the last few weeks.
My belly button started popping at about 12 weeks, with only the top half of it sticking out a little more. It sticks out like a sore thumb completely at 21 weeks and I'm sure it will pop some more. But I have an innie/outie (if that makes sense) so I knew it would be sticking out. It's gross.
I'm 22 weeks right now, and mine is pretty flat right now. It hasn't quite popped out yet, but it's pretty darn close. I had a very deep innie to start out with.
Mine popped somewhere after the 30th week. It was very popped by 36 wks, and my husband kept trying to play with it-- he said it was just so cute. (Me: Ok, but it's attached and it hurts a bit when you pull on it! Knock it off.)
Sidenote-- it's now back in, but it doesn't look like it used to at all. Anyone know if that's normal?
mine hasn't popped at all (38 weeks), just stretched flat but still a bit of an indent.
Mine got shallow, but never popped. However, I had a very small innie, and my belly button actually got a little more "open" after my baby was born.
I have a very deep innie and mine strectched to virtually flat, but never popped. I was so glad because I was dreading that. My mom said hers never popped either not sure if that makes a difference.
This thread gives me hope! As weird as it may sound, I LOVE my innie belly button :) I don't want it to pop lol, it's gotten a little shallower, mostly wider, so maybe it won't :)
i'm in the middle of week 20 and since last week I also started noticing my belly button was getting increasing shallow (mine was deep innie before). Now they top part of my belly button is flush with my belly but the bottom part is still an innie. It seriously bothers me lol and I keep making my DH look at it! I dont know why this is happening because I barely have a bump, my bump is tiny so I didnt expect this to happen so soon!
I am only 17 weeks and my belly button is very, very stretched out. I don't even have much of a bump yet, but my stomach was really flat and my skin was really tight before I got preggo, and my belly button looks crazy now! It has probably doubled in size and is completely shallow. It is constantly itching too. I feel like it is going to pop any day now.

I noticed today (at only 21 weeks!!!) my belly button is considerably more shallow and a little sore! I am hoping a have some time before the thermometer pops up! I know it depends on how you are carrying and probably the shape of your button. But just asking so I have a general idea of what is "normal!" Thanks!
