So, I am a little over 4 months along now, have a little bulge but since I don’t wear tight clothes it’s not noticable. Of course, I see myself naked every day so I can see it. It’s funny bc my mom keeps saying that by looking at me you would never think I was pregnant, meanwhile I gained close to 10 pounds so would like to know where that went lol. Anyway, even a few weeks ago, my stomach was mushy feeling. Just this past week, my stomach now feels hard and when I bend over or when I’m getting out of bed I can feel the hardness of my stomach. It’s funny too bc a few people I ran into who my family has told I was pregnant, when they see me they all congratulate me, then will look at my stomach. Guess I’m disappointing them though since there’s really nothing to see yet. My husband swears I’m showing, I don’t think so, and says that when he hugs me he can feel my stomach. So when did most of you begin to feel a difference?

I’m not pregnant so I can’t help you here, but I know everyone is different. I just had an acquaintance tell me she was 6 months pregnant… no joke, she looked like she just had a bit of extra chubbiness around her belly. She was still in regular clothes! And I have a friend who was very round and all belly when she was 5 months– very noticeably pregnant!
I’m sure you’ll get a belly soon! 🙂 🙂

I’m about 22 weeks now, and I exploded about 1-2 weeks ago. Before that, I was in the “weirdly fat” (aka not obviously pregnant) looking camp and nothing felt that different. As of about 20 weeks or a few days later, there’s really no longer any question that I’m knocked up 🙂

I think most of the weight gain that early is in things like blood volume and such. Crazy, when you think about it, but I think something like 2 pounds is just more blood. Trying to remember which book outlined it, but can’t, sorry. If I find it, I’ll post it.
I can tell a difference in my body already (6 weeks) but more in the way I feel than the way I look (except for the ginormous boobage). When I suck it in, there’s a little pocket in my lower abdomen I can’t suck in anymore.

I started showing around 4-5 months, depending on what I wore. My stomach started to really grow and feel different around the 5 month mark. It’ll happen… I kept waiting and waiting to start showing more and looking pregnant.

I just ‘popped’ about a week ago. We’re expecting twins and I’m just at 15 weeks today. It is just much fuller and starting to get hard (as opposed to my ‘soft’ chub)
I just bought a couple oversized cardigans and I’ll probably have to get a couple pair of trousers soon…can’t imagine my regular ones will be comfortable for much longer!

Two friends of mine started obviously showing at around 5 months…I’m only 5 weeks along so I haven’t noticed anything different yet.

I’m too early to tell (8 weeks), but I have a feeling I’ll be one to show early.
My old boss was very thin when she got pregnant, and every time anybody saw her they’d comment on how thin she was still and how she didn’t look pregnant. She always got really upset… but I thought it would be nice that people say you’re thin!

I COMPLETELY know where you are coming from. I’m 21 weeks and right now just look like I’ve gained a couple pounds in my mid-section and nobody can tell (except me and my hubby). Just about a week ago it started to feel hard (as I was beginning to feel her kick!). My hope is that by the new year I can be in some cute maternity tops and not fitting awkwardly in my regular clothes (read: they fit but are tight across the chest and my tumms a bit rounder!!).

Don’t be discouraged! I only gained the bare minimum during my pregnancy. I had medical problmes that wouldn’t allow me gain a lot of weight no matter how much I ate. It wasn’t until I was 7 1/2 almost 8 months pregnant before I really had my baby bump! Totally depressing! I could feel and see it and of course about 17 weeks I could feel her move. The funny part was that she was long limbed and I had no belly so all of the sudden she would stretch and my side would push out and freak people out! It was so much fun!

Oh and I just wore tight miternity clothes and left my looser fit ones for later. That way what little bump I had looked like a bump and not me being overweight.

Im 15 weeks and my stomach sticks out a little. Looks bloated or like I ate too much. People can notice me cause I wear tighter clothes and had a 6 pack before. Im a real skinny girl so they are used to my perfect stomach where now it bulges out a little. I guess I dont look pregnant at all if you dont know me tho.

I didn’t start to show until I was almost 8 months pregnant. I felt different, and I had major cankles… but I wore my regular clothes until well into my 3rd trimester lol.

This might be a silly question, but when do you start to *feel* pregnant? Like, feel something inside of you and have a hard belly etc?
Whenever I am freaking out about maybe being pregnant (which usually just end up being PMS symptoms) I start poking at my belly to see if it’s hard, and then I’m like “you idiot, you’d be like 2 weeks along, obviously you aren’t going to have a big hard belly yet!”
