Since it is a wedding over the holidays, you may want to send them out sooner than the standard 6-8 weeks.  I’d get on it as soon as you can – I think at this point, any time would be fine, but you should aim for no later than the 1st of November.

I already sent mine for 12/21. It can’t hurt to send them now if you’re not sure.

My wedding is 9 days after yours (wheee!) and I am sending mine out exactly 8 weeks beforehand–so that’s November 11.

We sent ours our this week – largely in part because almost all guests have to travel. Since it’s the holidays we want to make sure ppl have time to make flight and other travel reservations. Dec 28th is a good day!

My wedding is December 14th and I put the invites in the mail on September 30th so that people would receive them the first week in October. As mentioned previously, it’s holiday time so I thought I’d be good to send them a tad early. Also though, we didn’t have “Save the date”s. My RSVP date is November 8th – just incase there are stragglers haha. Plently of time to get all the responses in order to give the venue a proper count. w00t OUR WEDDINGS ARE ALMOST HERE YOUSE GUYS !!!

@cindyloo23:  I’m getting married on December 28th too! Date twin! Woo! I sent my invitations out in mid August so quite early. With a RSVP date of 1st Oct. I’m STILL waiting on a few replies!

I think the earlier the better, especially with Christmas!
