I'm sure it varies, but for us the Unity Candle will be right after the exchange of rings and the flowers to Mary will be right after Communion. Hope that helps!
Another option I've seen that is nice is for the two mothers to present the flowers to Mary. It's a nice way to get the moms involved.
You'll probably also want to check with your priest as some do the ceremony in a specific order. Ours wouldn't even allow a unity candle and the flowers had to be presented after the eucharist, but this varies from parish to parish.

My florist and my organist told me of a custom where the bride brings flowers to mary's altar. When is that in the service? Also, when does the unity candle lighting happen?
Thanks!
