So I had my first of two showers a few weekends ago and I have my second this weekend. Do I send out thank you cards right after the showers or wait to do all of them after the wedding? I feel like I should wait until after, but I am not sure.

Shower thank yours should be sent out right after the event.
If you get gifts before the wedding, send thank yous out early-anything that can make this job easier after the wedding is good!

You should do thank you cards as soon as possible after receiving the gifts. For the showers, definitely do them now.
You may also start receiving wedding gifts before the actual wedding (some guests will order them ahead of time and have them shipped to you). If you can swing it, it’s a good idea to send those thank-yous early as well. It lets guests know that their gift arrived (always reassuring) and it lightens your load post-wedding. When the time comes, you will be grateful for every extra note you took care of ahead-of-time!

Whoops, well… I am a fail at this ettiquette stuff. i thought I should have sent them but I think someone told me to wait and then I was confused. I have so much to do before I leave for my shower ( it’s 4 hours from my home) I may have to wait until I come back and do them all at once for both.

Send them out right after the event. Your guests will appreciate them, and I promise you, you do not want to be left with piles and piles of thank you notes to write after the wedding. It’ll take you a year! 😛
