When do you stop drinking, exactly??

Ok, so I'm officially off the pill now. It's been 3 days. My doc told me to stop drinking as soon as we are TTC. Now, since it's only been 3 days, I am nowhere near ovulation, and there would be no harm in a last glass of wine with dinner, right?

I never get drunk or anything, but I do like wine with dinner...

On another note, next weekend we are spending the weekend out of town, with friends... Usually we eat awesome food and drink really good wine with them. I will not be drinking by then. How do I make it not obvious, as we don't want people to know about our TTC plans?

I'm of the mentality that you can drink until it's pink!

Plenty of perfectly healthy babies are conceived after a night of drunken love making or by people get pregnant unexpectedly/unplanned and continue drinking as they normally would until they are late and get that positive test.

ETA: Can a mod move this to Babies?

@Mrs.KMM:"You can drink until it's pink!"-->this sounds like it should be on a t-shirt :).

I'm not TTC, but as far as hiding it, I would just tell them that you've decided to drink less in general. You can always grab a single glass of wine and "share" with your FI, but let him drink it all.
