I don’t want to forget anyone!!
Im trying to get all of our gifts for our wedding party/people/etc…
So, of course we have gifts for our wedding party and parents.
Question is, do we need to get gifts for:
-our officiant (he is my mom’s best friend, “ordained” online)
-our wedding planner (also a family friend who has refused us trying to pay her usual fee)
-musicians? (just regular musicians, not friends or anything)
And do you give the gifts at the rehearsal dinner? or privately??

Since the minister is a family friend (or even if he wasn’t) if he isn’t requiring you to pay him anything I would definitely give some kind of donation as a thank you. We are going to give our Minister $100 because he is not charging us to marry us.
If the wedding planner is helping you out for free, I would definitely give her a gift as a great big thank you. Wedding planners can charge a lot and so think of what she is missing out on by planning your wedding when she could be planning someone else’s who is paying her.
Since the musicians are vendors you don’t need to give them anything.
If you are inviting them to the rehearsal dinner it is customary to give the gifts there, however, if you prefer to give it to them privately you can do it however you wish.
