I feel like a little girl playing dress-up in her mom's clothes.

I am 5'3" (on a good day). I am size 18/20 but it's stretched out, ya know? I am a 38C. Nothing seems to fit me properly.

If you've seen some of the previous posts I made about trying on dresses I had an extremely hard time finding ones I have liked. (Here and here)

I would like some ideas on dresses that are flattering to plus-sized, petite brides. Any help/comments would be greatly appreciated!

I know it is a size smaller but should give you some ideas. I think miss.nicole's dress would look lovely on you :)

Based on your pictures in the other posts, I think you need to try on more dresses emphasizing your waist.  The A-line really suits you, and the best look has been #3 in your DB post (although #7 is a close one).  Given your size/bust size, I'd stay away from the halter tops though...they draw attention in a way that isn't flattering the best aspects of your figure.

Ooo! Yes! I second secondchances. That dress would be killer on you! I think the part on the bust will give you a bit more to give off an hourglass figure look, and the rouching will draw attention to your smaller waist.

I agree with the PP.  I think you need strapless A-line, maybe with some asymmetrical rushing?  Its very flattering for so many body types!  And also a heavier fabric, satin or even taffeta.

    Good luck!

I liked #7 in the David's Bridal thread, I think tea-length dresses would be your best bet. They would accenutate your waist, and wouldn't overwhelm you.
